I see that in the latest firmware the shortest attack time is now 10ms instead of 1ms.

The biggest bews is that Howie's wife had a baby girl Saturday and they bamed her Toni Stark. (No joke)

There is only one week left to get the upgrade at the $250 price. I called Lectro on Monday and they said they'd contact me when they'd be ready for me to send in my two SRa's for upgrade. It's about a 10 day turnaround, they said. I can send in my SRa's anytime before the last day of September to still get the lower price (as long as you call and make the appointment before the end of July.)

I have the ATE208 and love it.

I had this same problem. I actually returned a new SMQV to Lectro since I only got about 1 1/2 hours on the same rechargeable batteries that would give me at least 5 hours of use on my older SMQV. The response from Lectro was that the new one was within spec and there was nothing wrong with it. (I always just use 100mW - I was told switching it to 50mW does not improve battery life) I actually did some tests with time lapse - and what I've learned is that I have to use Energizer lithiums only now in my newer SMQVs. The lithiums last a very long time, as jwill just mentioned.

This thread reminds me - on the TV show Parenthood, the 2 brothers have a recording studio and they wear some pretty cool looking headphones... anybody know what they are?
