Maybe something for a future Nomad firmware update? Firmwares increase quiet regularly, it seems. That is great, but not if I have to run to somebody with a IFB100 everytime. Especially since I am located in a place off the track.

I try to update the firmware of my two ERX1 receivers from a Nomad. I could only find instruction to update it from an IFB100 or a TRX900. But not from the Nomad. How to?

no zaxnet or other remote ctrl. Anyone there with a more serious idea?

Is there a way to remote trigger recording on the nomad from an external device? say, through tc, or a wireless remote?

Thanks Bernie Does anyone know, when the IFB will be available? I got a job starting from the 23rd of Nov and I need a device by then. The question is, whether I go for a 744T or the Nomad 6. If I get one by then with IFB, the decision is clear, I go with Zaxcom. If not, I'll have to consider the Sounddevices. Thanks for any reply.

Did anyone collect some experience with the built in AA batteries? What is the battery life there in settings like: - recording only - recording with 2 phantom powered mics - recording with phantom and fib (if that is available at the moment - dunno) Thanks, Nevera
