  1. Please email me directly at matt@soundcart.tv with your address and a quote will be sent asap. Please include details of the cart model you are interested in and any accessories (please see the current price list attached).
  2. Thanks Jeff. Yes our MiniCart is another example. As the kit gets smaller and more powerful the need for a large cart gets less and less.
  3. Following feedback SOUNDCART are updating the Compact Bag Cart (Red) and will be releasing the Mk 2 on 1st January 2017. The Mk2 now features elements found in our flagship Production Sound Cart such as 19" rack strips front (20u) and back (12u), the ability to fold down (without tools) as well as fully height adjustable rear handles. Model specific accessories will include front casters (adjustable feet as standard like the MiniCart), adjustable shelves and a 3u adjustable monitor extension (180 degrees). Our range of universal accessories are all fully compatible such as the boom holders etc. Dimensions (mm): 985-1070 H x 718 W x 555 D 1049-1070 H x 718 W x 363 D (folded) Here are some Computer Aided Design drawings of the cart. Pricing will be announced soon. Further details available at www.facebook.com/SOUNDCART
  4. The standard cart attaches the wheels by M12 hex bolts however there isn't any reason why you couldn't use an adjustable clamping lever such as http://www.boneham.co.uk/shop/product/adjustable_clamping_lever_straight_handle or Eye bolt for example. With the base being removeable and shelves foldable it fits in a mid-sized car boot.
  5. We are currently prototyping this solution for mounting a SmartView (or any 3u rack kit) on our recently released MiniCart. It should commercially available in a few weeks.
  6. If you are after a mini/super mobile sound cart setup I have just released this... (apologies if against the rules admin!). The MiniCart is 20" wide compared to the Zuca All Terrain at 22". US pricing is TBC but will likely start around $1,000-1,200 mark. Call Pro-Sound NYC to express interest or visit www.facebook.com/SOUNDCART for more details P.S. There is also an optional cup holder accessory
  7. Thanks. Yes the handle wheels seem an odd addition until you use a cart with them on.
  8. Great job! Loving the cool cart designs people are coming up with.
  9. Yes Item24.de they have loads of useful documentation that is definitely worth reading as it tells you about where the forces are going and best position of the profiles for maximum strength. As I said before if you can design it using a CAD package such as AutoCAD you'll save hours (and money) and avoid costly mistakes. Happy cart building!
  10. Having designed and built quite a few carts from T-Slot profile my suggestion is to read the documentation from the supplier as it has a wealth of information on what to do and what NOT to do when it comes to forces being applied. There is more to it than simply bolting it together Apart from the reasons given by others above I would like to add that for true flexibility you'll want the rack rails. Otherwise you'll end up in the position where you want to add or change something and won't be able to because you don't have the necessary t-slot nut where as you can easily get hold of a rack screw! best of luck
  11. Leonardo ITEM.de offer a design and build service here in Europe. They were very helpful when I was building my new cart range. It it is highly flexible but you'll need to get your head around CAD drawing to make best use of it. If you are in a rush we usually have them in stock for next day European delivery. Meanwhile checkout www.facebook.com/soundcart for some further ideas!
  12. Good job! loving this new cart revolution ;-) ITEM have a design team so can design and build you a cart to your own spec. You send them a drawing of what you want and then their design team creates a CAD version. When I had investigated that route the cost was roughly $2500-3000 plus tax and p&p BUT for that all the manufacturing is done for you as well as checked before shipping. This is how I ended up design and developing my own!
  13. A quick video of the accessories on the Production Sound Cart. More videos will shortly be available on our Facebook page (www.facebook/soundcart).
  14. Ok. Thanks for the update. I'll await further details. Hopefully won't be missed opportunity.
  15. How do you access the second channel when used as a hop? Is there a 5-pin output option?
  16. Thank you both for your replies. I'll continue my investigations. If anyone else has any contributions or suggestions I'd love to hear from you. The more info the better!
  17. Hi, does anyone know the HS tariff code or specially the US & Canadian import codes for a sound cart? Thanks Matt
  18. A fair comment to make. The CAD drawings don't yet show the additional 1u/2u shelving that will be available (mild steel like you'd find available for standard 19") as I'm yet to design them in AutoCAD. You'll be able to mount your bag on those and strap it to the top cross brace bar at the top. I should also mention that the pull out shelf will be mountable at two different heights. I have also been contacted about how to mount video monitors... I'm currently looking adapters for the top of the main uprights which will allow two monitors with standard 3/8" threads (such as the Sound Devices PIX, BlackMagicDesign Video Assist range) to be mounted rather than 19" monitors which are catered for on my Compact Bag Cart (Red).
  19. Here are some images of a new cart we shall be launching in Q2 2016 which we are calling the MiniCart. This ultra-compact bag cart is designed for those on a budget as well as those with limited space to transport a cart to location. It features 18u (10.5" wide) rack space, a slide-out shelf - ideal for mounting a CL-12- and should accept most of our standard cart accessories including boom holders, antenna holders etc. Dimensions are 910mm x 500mm x 435mm (H x W x D). Maximum load 10kg. Specification is subject to change following the beta testing phase. Estimated RRP $935 (without any accessories) We look forward to hearing your views, feature requests and opinions...
  20. I'll see what can be done to achieve that. Yeah, both of them were designed with such a kit combo in mind (especially the Compact Bag Cart) Please visit our website www.soundcart.tv next week. You will be able to order one then from us directly.
