  3. The BAGCART is done. I have the prototype ready for a test run for someone in LA. It weighs in at 42lbs / 19kgs. Let me know who wants to go first. Great to get some response and feedback on this. Sliding drawer was lowered to accommodate a thinker instrument. http://youtu.be/AqBLzl-e6ec Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. That effin has ruined many a take. While shooting "Mr.Deeds" with Adam Sandler we set up an intimate scene at the top of a brownstone stoop. Quiet scene in the middle of the night. Easly boomable. In the background all you could here is 'click, click, click'. 'Click, click, click' Steve Sands was on the next stoop 10' away shooting. Those days it was film stills so it was loud! And that is why Chris Woodcock, this guy is so hated. A producer got him in the union just to keep him off the set. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. I shot once in the jungle using my mk41. Needless to say by the end of the day it was fuzzy. I took a cardboard box and filled it with rice, then plugged in a 100 watt bulb and hung it over the box about 10 inches, stuck in a closet and left it there until the next day. It worked. The rice absorbed the moisture. Every couple of days I changed the rice. If only i'd bought beans to go with the rice. . Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. The kind of music playback I've bee ask to do lately has been pretty simple. What I tell the producers is if you want me to turn the song on and turn it off I'm fine with that..but if you want me to record dialog, mix down the track and re-cue the song or another song, fade the music down, play it only in the earwig then we need a playback person. Give a brother work. When it is simple I use Sound Studio, http://www.felttip.com/ss/index.html , a simple program like audacity but it gives me a simple one button operation to set marks for beginning and end of segments. Really fast and easy to adjust the beginning or end by moving a curser or punching in a new start number. and I think it was 29.00 ! How cool is that. So if your using audacity you know it's not so easy to have multiple cues. I think there is a free trail so you can try it out. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  10. I am not sure where to post this but here goes. I have an industrial space available to share in Van Nuys area. Rent would be around $330.00 or so. 24/7 access. Power available. Garage door loading area. Alarmed. 1 million dollar liability insurance. High ceiling, a bathroom, water. Air condition at your cost. Easy access for camera trucks, stake beds and so on. Just off the 405, 101 and accessible from 170. There is also an office space. Shared with another business which has left and the space is open to share. Prefer someone who does the same but would consider another craft. If you or anyone you trust is interested. Please contact me directly. 310-428-9288. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. Micheal, first of all, great job! Everything looks awsome. And as you must know, many of the members would like to build their custom carts too. It would be helpful to me and I think many others to know the ball park figure cost of such an endevear. So that one can weigh thier options. I am considering a welded version of your exquisit example. Maybe just the cost of the raw materials from 80/20? As I said wonderful job. and I can see why set personel are oogling the cart.
