  1. +1 for the two-channel transmitter.
  2. I have been using it for about a year now without any issues (apart from one time, when we were shooting at 29,97DF... never understood why), and many camera assistants I've worked with love it. You can last for about a day and a half using 4 Powerex NiMH batteries, but I would suggest a battery change after each day. And from my experience, yes, it holds its timecode during battery change.

    Nanuk Cases

I bought a small one recently (Nanuk 915) to carry/store my TC slate. Awesome case, smooth latches (easier to open/close than pelican cases and a lot quieter). As for the price, it's pretty much in the same range as pelican. Maybe a bit cheaper, but not by much.
  4. I had the exact same problem not long ago with a SMa transmitter. I didn't know what was the cause of it, but after I cleaned the inside of the battery door and the bottom part of the pack itself (underneath the battery door) everything went back to normal.
  5. Hello Franky The way I usually work, using a SD 664, is by naming the files, for example, SC01-01. The takes are named automatically T01, T02 and so on. That way, when we move on to the next shot, I only have to change one number, which takes about 5 seconds to do. Hope this helps. Guillaume
