Hi can anyone help with a Pix 240 file issue.
After running for 40mins a Pix 240 lost power so failed to close the file. The Pix will not show the file and after removing the SSD and it cannot be seen in finder although in utilities it says the drive has 42GB. Any ideas on a quick way to access the file to see if anything on the drive is salvageable. Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards
Calum
Matt I just had a chat with Hawk Woods tech guys and they are in the process of making a low profile (to be neat on F5, F55) SR RX V-Slot unit with TA3 TA5 connectors with duel hirose to run TC Buddy etc.
Still in development but hopefully have my hands on it soon
Any word from Lectro about side by side tests done in factory with SRa and SRb. Just wondering if the cost to upgrade the board + shipping etc is going to be worth the say an extra 5% - 10% in performance.
Hi Matt
Yeah its my Ambient for sale. Its on the green block and i have added some high gain antenna as well. I am selling because i have moved over to TC Buddy. I was using the ambient to feed TC to my 552 and found that it was fine when you just want a TOD signal to stamp the file but was not reliable (at distance) enough signal to run the 552 in auto record/rec run trigger from camera TC.
Hope you are well Matt catch you soon
I've been using 2x LMa blk26 ether side of a Petrol bag as links with up to 8 SRa on 606 RX for talent mics. Maybe this is voodoo but lining the bag with RF deflection cloth makes a world of difference for range.
Before lining the bag I found that intermodal range was an issue even with the 2 blk separation and after no problems at all.

The rubber dust boot can be slipped over the head of the Cos11 and run down the cable to protect the connector if its going to be a sweaty shoot.
Been using Rean TA3 for all my cables and TA5 with lectro links cables and cos11 mics, easy to wire, good strain relief and moisture resistance.
Very good robust product
