  1. We got some in late last week and I'm impressed. They are very precise and well engineered. They are very form fitting and can be used with the Zaxnet antenna with little problem. The opening in the back for the XLR inputs is spot on and it can be adjusted for right angle cables. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow if anyone wants to see it packed with a nomad. -Ryan
  2. Diego, I'm not sure exactly what Lectrosonics has planned for development for OSX, but I hope they add support. There are software packages that allow you to run windows software in OSX without doing a full installation. I've used them in the past and they can be a life saver - when they work. Setup can be a bit tricky, and not all software works, but If you are tech savvy, you should be able to give it a try. Setting up LecNet like this is on my Todo list, but I'm not sure when I will be able to get to it. CrossOver. Commercial, with some direct support Wineskin. Open source with community support -Ryan
  3. I stand corrected about the voltage. Thanks for the info, Zack and Marc. -Ryan
  4. for this wiring, the setting on the ERX would be "ON: out right". (as an FYI, the other settings are "on: out left tip" and "off"). edit: For the camera, how to set it depends on the firmware version. For most versions, make sure that you set the audio source to "cam analog", the audio mode to "unbalanced" and the timecode souce to external.
  5. Mike, I just had one of those cables built for a customer and it tested perfectly. Rado posted the wiring before, but I had to contact him to clarify one of the connections. 3.5mm TRS 'Y' cable to 4 pin Lemo and 3.5mm TRS Erx T to 3.5mm Tip Erx R to Lemo pin 3 Erx S to 3.5mm sleeve and Lemo pin 1. The Lemo ground can only connect with pin 1, not the body. There is a setting in the extended menu on the ERX to adjust where the timecode is output, tip or ring. Also, you should adjust the timecode output voltage to 2v- (EDIT: It should be 1v. See posts by Zack and Marc below) . You may also want to disable the external volume control, just in case. -Ryan
  6. Tom, Download the LecNet 2 software installer. http://www.lectroson...tions-only.html When you run it, connect the venue to your computer via usb. It will connect to it and allow you to install the updated firmware. edit: more specifically, once you install the software, run the VRPanel for Venue Receiver from your programs folder. It will detect the Venue. From the file menu, select update firmware and choose the hex file. You will need to restart the Venue while holding the two buttons to the left of the LCD. It will walk you through the rest of the process. -Ryan
  7. Steve, I have a Boom Box in stock, if you're interested. PM me or give us a call at 888-293-3030. Ryan
  8. MCA is the reason I started playing upright bass. Not only a great musician, but a great human being. Time to break out Check Your Head...
  9. If you press the BUS membrane button while on the first OUTPUT BUS ASSIGN routing page, it will take you to another screen that will allow you to route it to any of the 6 busses. Then, route that bus only to HP2.
  10. pm me your email and I can send it.
  11. Jeff- On the Knob Assign 5-8 page, press the Fader button in the bottom center to toggle to zaxnet trim. Ryan
  12. I have used custom molded Etymotic earplugs for 6 years. At the time, they cost $150 with the fitting. They are the best investment for my ears I have ever made. I bought two sets of filters, 15db and 25db that I swap out depending on use. They have a nearly flat frequency decrease, so everything just sounds "turned down" and not muffled. I don't even notice that they're in my ears anymore, though the silicon is getting a bit hard and I should probably replace them soon. Highly recommended.
