  1. Looking to use a hub to connect to 5 of these/10 batteries at once - what are the specifications for current for such a configuration?
  2. It would be great to import exclusion lists. I can download lists of dozens of frequencies already allocated in my location that currently need to be manually entered.
  3. Has anyone tried the battery doubler?
  4. I get the high-pitched squeal sometimes. Turning off remote control has helped, but sometimes not. I see that you sometimes get it with lithium rechargeables, sometimes not, dependng on run times. Does it happen with other battery types? Basically, I'm trying to come up with the answer to: What are best practices for avoiding the high-pitched squeal?
  5. I've talked to dealers and Sound Devices, and the reason is, the trim is an actual trim pot in an analog stage and the CL-12 is a digital controller. I guess you can go to the 788 ifbyou want, it's the way the 6-series system is designed and priced.
  6. Jeff you've created a community here that's about supporting each other, and you've come through for me when I needed you. It's time for us to help you come through for Don. Cheers sir. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  7. How do you do it and what are the tools? I have some mics I'd like to make microdot. The local shops have told me they don't know if it can be done. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  8. Does anyone know if on the G3 IEM model you can disable the external gain knob? As someone pointed out, one of the nice things about G3 as hop vs Lectro R1A is "locking out" the gain. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  9. So the UWP-11 does connect via the hot shoe to audio inputs? Because the description on B&H doesn't mention the hot shoe connection. The description for the URX-P03D does. Is it compatible with Lectro IFB transmitters a all? Any hot shoe capability with the F5?
  10. When did you alert them? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  11. I am having durabilty issues versus Sanken and I don't use concealers. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  12. This is good to know Rado. I don't use concealers myself. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  13. There are posts in this thread that say that 4060/4071s are prone to durabilty problems. This is my experience as well, I've had multiple 4060/4071 problems over the past couple of months, breakage/short at the head. I got a slim more recently. Other posts claim that it looks like the slim has a stronger connector at the head. Has anyone found slims to be more durable than 4050/4071s? Same? Less? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  14. Are slims as prone to breakage as regular 4060/4070s?
  15. It was a huge mic drop - from 90 feet. Any firmware modders out there?
  16. I have a Lectro Quadpack, and i attach 2 dipoles to just one sma connection on each of my SRbs. On the other connection, I keep a whip on. My experience is much better range than just whips. Wondering if from mathematical-technical perspective, this makes sense, or am i experiencing the placebo effect? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  17. The phone company can cut off your service. Can we come up with digital files that require a key to decrypt? Imagine: dialogue box comes up in Premiere: "Audio Mixer payment has not been made within 30 days. Please remit payment to regain access to the files." Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk And this stuff about don't bug them too much for the money they promised you, who's responsibility is it to uphold the relationship? What crap. Good thing they are requiring contracts for all freelance work in NYC now. Let's get payment language into them. This is business, we shouldn't be going around groveling for money we are owed for work done months ago. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  18. What did you use for the microphone? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  19. The CS3e is quite sensitive. I often use Line phantom setting on my 633 for that mic. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  20. We offer more value than rental houses in that, we are intimately familiar with our kits, have them custom configured to work efficiently, and keep them in tip top shape. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  21. I haven't got good sound out of a mic placed on the head anywhere unless it's out in front of the face on glasses or big hair. I always use B6 in this case. Can't imagine putting a larger mic on the head, but I do all doc-style, so I need to have them well-hidden. Have others had success in other locations and/or with other mics? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  22. I also base my pricing on local rental house pricing. I find it is about 1/80 of new price per day. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  23. I used my Lectro SMQVs on a workout shoot the other day, no protection at all, and was fine. Is anyone having problems with Lectrosonics and sweat? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  24. What were the noticeable differences? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
