  1. What were the noticeable differences? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  2. I was there earlier this week, it was pretty wide open in Lectrosonics block 19, block 21 also had plenty of open frequencies for me. I was operating three wireless on 19, and one on 21. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks, I might take you up on that, Do you know if there is already a command - line tool that does this already? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  4. I'm headed there Saturday with Lectrosonics block 19. I guess I'll bring dipoles and fins. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  5. Does it run in Linux? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  6. Zack, what are those holding your boom on? Are they those generic molle tie-ons? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  7. I preferred the Match Game extended look. Also preferred that show. I've heard the Alec Baldwin reboot is good. Anyone see it? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk Since it's telescoping, maybe I get one as a boom pole backup. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  8. Does it? Does inputting to a Tx at mic level save batteries? My understanding is that it does not matter, the corollary being that whatever level you set an SM at, the battery life is the same. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  9. Where did you get the foam and how did you cut it? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  10. Working with two this weekend. Anyone know what to look out for? Looks like no TC in/out, my bet is that it's very similar to the Fs7.
  11. Yeah, I think wide band is going to be the thing in urban areas like here in NYC. It's the only thing I can see making it possible to operate in rf-crowded environments once the 600 spectrum goes away. My critical SM applications are sports, the client's demand it, they fit uniforms and equipment. However, these are the applications where I use 250mw too (in game player mics in baseball is one). And this is the time when freq blocks are also the most crowded. The FB post doesn't say that a 250mw L-series is impossible. Is it possible? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk Obviously the SSM addresses everything but power, and unfortunately maxes out at 50mw. >
  12. Is there a wide band version of the SM in the works? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  13. I don't see any mention of a wide band SM not being in the works from the other thread. Am I missing something? I'm going to post that question over there. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  14. Do Copics work on Overcovers? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  15. If you go bluetooth, the sound will no longer be coming out of the iPad speakers, right? So not only do you have to send mix-minus to the iPad, but you need to have an external speaker for the incoming signal? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  16. This is for a leg application, wouldn't work on the waist, correct? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  17. Is that a paint roller pole? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. I've had trouble with TRRS connectors and R1as.
  19. For the same reasons, I use Lectrosonics. I use an "invoicing" method which I find to be pretty effective.
  20. My client is looking for a good VO Studio in London to record with a celebrity. Can anyone help me help them?
  21. My client is looking for a good VO Studio in London to record with a celebrity. Can anyone help me help them?
  22. I use Powerpax, and they do tear up the sheathing on my rechargeables. I have peeled off the sheathing on some cells, which works for me. I find them tedious sometimes... Is anyone using the Battery Clip? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. I know that there are other forums doing this, and I would like to see the robust community at jwsoundgroup keep up, and connect with the younger mixers in this way (who by my estimation are apt use such a tool more often for a number of reasons.) I am back in jwsoundgroup more frequently now that jwsoundgroup is back on Tapatalk. I have my preferences set up to send me notifications based on posts to my favorite-ed threads. I'd be interested to try this with an Urgent thread, it would be like getting a text message when someone needs urgent help. If other people are doing the same, perhaps we could create a really strong and immediate help network. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. I think the video is right on, and this will help us mop up after production quite nicely.
