  1. +1 for RME I really like there stuff. Its all really solid and I think they sound better then the MOTU gear. There Fireface units are my small interface of choice right now.
  2. If your looking for specific models I have been VEARY happy with the professional wireless antenas. There LPDA is very nice and competitively priced it can be found at: I also love there helical antenna, if you are looking for a passive antena for transmitters at a long distance it really can not be beat. It can be found here: http://www.professio...helical/#s8089l
  3. I think It would be better to use a passive splitter/combiner rather than just a BNC T. Just make sure that it is rated for the output power you are using. Usually these parts are really intended to be used as a splitter so they have fairly low power ratings. Also be aware that you are going to get a reasonable about of signal loss usually on the order of 4dB so that could be an issue. I have done this with 2 Sennheiser IEMs with out issue, but they where not in the same band and it was set up for me by the RF guy at the rental shop that I tend to work with so I dont know how well this would work with SMVs.
  4. I just don't keep any of my gear at home. It all lives in my work box a the rental shop I work with the most. Out of sight out of mind!
  5. Masque Sound carries them I believe. ( www.masquesound.com or. 212-939-8666 ) Call and ask for Scott. Be forewarned however you will need there (Lemo's) tool, and the connecters are kind of a PITA.
  6. Well, I have not touched a any of there stuff in a few years maybe its time I gave them another try.
  7. The problem with Behringer gear is that they use the cheapest components possible and don't have the best QC. So sometimes you get a unit that works very well but most of the time (in my experience) you don't and when you do get a working peace of gear you are never sure when it's going to stop working. Now for the price a lot of people will just say o'well but for my money I would much rather pay more for a peace of gear and not have to worry about it.
  8. Has anyone who has tried this had any issues with the logic level difference between AESid and S/PDIF? Has any one used a voltage divider when going from AES -> S/PDIF (as suggested here http://www.rane.com/note149.html)? More to the point has anyone who has not used a similar circuit had issues?
