  1. Hi Siddho, Theoretically that should be fine but things aren't as regulated in Ireland as in the UK. I have been using the 606 band and Lectro block 24 for a while now but I couldn't be sure about channel 70.
  2. Hey Siddho, In Ireland the official frequencies are the same as the UK, channel 38. PM me if you wish and I will try to give you some more information. Best
  3. Hi All, I just knocked up a very simple android app app for the 4 Lectro tones available on the website. It still needs a bit of tidying up but seems to work. I'll try to put it somewhere to make it available sometime in the not to distant future. A question for Larry...not being in the states can I possibly email somebody in Lectrosonics for information about the other tones? I'll try to incorporate them all if I can get them. Thanks
  4. Hi All, Barry O'Sullivan here, a member of AMPS and probably better known as a boom operator but have moved on to mixing for the last couple of years. I'm a bit of a film gypsy really, working from Ireland,London and South Africa. It takes a bit of sorting out from time to time. I've been knocking around this forum for a couple of years now but there are often times when I don't get to check in for quite a while. Cheers Barry
  5. Thanks everyone for your help. Cheers Barry
  6. Hi All, I was wondering if any body out there has had any experience with the PSC Solice? I have read Glen Trew's review but I would love to hear from any body else who has used one. Thanks Barry
  7. Thanks Everybody but unfortunately none of those things worked. It does seem to be a Lacie firmware and Deva issue. Further investigation is happening.
  8. Hi FSBella, I have tried switching the machine on and off but it still won't recognise the drive, also, I've been unable to fromat it, again the deva won't recognise it as a mirror drive. Thanks though.
  9. I've been trying to back up the internal hard drive from a Deva v to a Lacie external firewire hard drive, but the Deva keeps giving a firewire error message. I have found out that apparently the deva will not communicate with the latest firmware version in the lacie so it seems I need to downgrade the firmware. The problem is the only program I could get to do this is a PC program which I cannot get to work. It won't recognise the drive when connected to the USB port (on the PC) and windows XP keeps asking for a driver when I connect the Lacie hard drive via the firewire port (again on the PC), everything I can find out about lacie hard drives says that no driver is needed or available for these drives. I'm using a Lacie D2 Quadra external hard drive. Has anyone else come across this problem, or got any suggestions???
