  1. I wonder why they didn't make a larger sl-6 with more slots? feels like a slot to short for my standard jobs. sl-8 or 12, probably too heavy though.
  2. I'm in the minority here, but I would love the bag to fit 664 + cl-6. Since I have the 633 now, i have no need to take off the CL-6. I don't feel that 617 is a good bag...at all, its a floppy mess, that has just enough room, D rings, pockets, etc, to make it super annoying. However Pascals bag looks very nice. The header cable is a concern. I am sure there is a solution to be found, and maybe from Pascals last message he has already found the solution.
  3. I Like the Kraken!!! so I can yell Unleash the Kraken every time i take it out.
  4. Wow this looks great, but what am I going to put my 633 in while i wait for this bag, excited to see the 664 version as well.
  5. Sorry friends for the previous post I was excited, and didn't read far enough I have my answers now....
  6. WooHoo, I just got my acceptance from the FCC, Call Sign WQRB617 !!!! I did it myself with the help of bill Rucks video on TrewAudio's website and this forum! However I got a few questions, my expiration date is 12-01-13! this year!!! i thought i would be good for eight years, did I do something wrong? Also what now, what can I do to help keep our respective spectrum as is? Thanks friends Tyler
  7. Still a work in progress... 664+CL-6 3 SRa Lectro udm230L system Bds Been running the bag on 1 np1 for about 6 hours. Keeping it lite.
  8. +1 for the countryman case, i like the newer one a little better than the older leather one.
  9. I love the app, totally worth it, works great with freqfinder too, never had the issue of it changing the hop due to always using um400, but that's funny never thought of that...
  10. what would you say the range is with big antenna vs stubby, and audio quality vs comtek?
  11. Hello all, long time reader first time poster... http://www.icomamerica.com/en/products/receivers/handheld/r6/default.aspx Some friends of mine have changed over their IFB receivers to these kinda cool looking things, they are wide banded so you can dial any freq in i guess, any one with experience with these that can give me pros or cons of using these, if producers like them or not. etc. seems like a lot of functionality for a low price. any thoughts???
  12. Just got the new firmware, i like that you can change track names from input settings now!!!!
  13. I used two EMWs and 1 Lectro m150, and sent a guys down a water slide, the EMWs lasted 3 dunks,(failing on the 3rd) the M150 lasted 1 dunk. I taped the mic on the inside of what was i believe a rash guard shirt. I used auqapaks from Trew audio to house the transmitters. after the mic failed i just let them dry out and they worked again!
  14. Hey friends, Long time reader first time writer, I am currently building this exact set up with the exception of big ben, DM1000, to FF800 to Boom recorder or Metacorder, (been testing both, liking BR more) i was planning on using the Deneke GR-1 as the clock, my question to you, dspaceman, is are you using the timecode option on the Fireface 800? if so or not does any one know how that would work with the GR-1? could i use that as the "word clock" between all devices? Any further information on this would be great as the rig is in the works. thanks!
