I have worked as Production Sound Mixer and Boom Operator for almost 6 years now. I have worked on a ton of corporate work for many clients including Boeing, Microsoft, Samsung, Starbucks, Seattle Sounders, Safeco Insurance, etc. I have worked on feature-length films, documentaries, pretty much anything that needs good sound. I also do audio post production, dialogue, adr, foley editing and sweetening, audio mixing, all in Pro Tools 10. I am also set up to record foley and adr with my own rig. I have lived and worked in Seattle for the past years and recently relocated to Los Angeles. I have all my own gear and transportation. I bring professional attitude to the set, I know when to listen and when to talk, and I have the patience of a jedi knight.

  1. hello my fellow sound afficionados, I was hoping one of you people on this great site here could help me in regards to a wireless question: do you know what frequncy blocks they use in Barbados? Or if you could point me into the right direction as to who to contact to find that out? Any help will be much appreciated! have a great day everybody, best always, Dennis
  2. maybe you should contemplate taking more than one microphone with you? that is another added bonus of hiring an actual soundman - they come with a good selection of mics, they have the right tool for the job, and know when to use it. If you wanna be a one-man-band swiss army knive, well, go ahead, I won't stop you. But before you blow your entire sound budget on a cmit5, maybe get several other, not so 1%er mics, so you have a back-up in case of technical problems. An earlier post mentioned the rode ntg3, that is one rugged mic, surprisingly good for the money. The 416 is a classic of course that will not fail no matter what conditions you shoot in. think about it.
