  1. I am wanting to set up walkie integration with my Nova but am getting a bit confused... As I see it there are two options: 1.) I can buy mic that attaches to my HP and plugs into the 'mic' 3.5mm on the Nova then route this to output 6 to the walkie and have a return from the walkie into return1/2 of the Nova. Pressing the com button should open the walkie. 2.) Glenn mentioned that he has successfully used a URX100 lanyard to the Nova. He said the PTT button on the lanyard was functional. He also said the lanyard needs to be connected to output 6 and return 1/2 for 2 way communication. Does this mean the lanyard TRRS connector can be split into mic and HP then plugged into the 3.5mm mic connector and routed to output 6 the same as I would do with the external mic? And the PTT button on the lanyard would be functional?
  2. Thanks for sharing. Have you come across any suitable amps that are a smaller alternative to the L com?
  3. I just ordered this to try out...can post here once it arrives:) https://hobbyking.com/en_us/2-4ghz-2-watt-signal-amplifier-for-dji-phantom-1-2-white.html?___store=en_us Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  4. I couldn't find it on SGS or ProSounds websites. Do you know where I can purchase it? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk DFI Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks Nate, nice work for bra straps. Would be good if there were a slide on clip to purchase. Maybe I'll try some 3d printing? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  6. Just got a ZMT, is anyone making accessories yet? A belt/bra clip would be nice:)
  7. I was replying to this sentence in particular. It seems what you're after already exists (ZFR). Zaxcom uses 3 pin lemo connectors not ta3.
  8. ta5-lemo adapter cable like the one lectro is about to release for the SSM?
  9. Are we able to control trim and or faders from the Nomad touch? Ie is this the start of the sound backpack with control surface at the front?
  10. Also it's cheaper if you are upgrading from a previous version of RX. Log in to your Izotope account and check the 'upgrade coupons' tab:)
  11. PSA: RX4 and RX4 Advanced currently on sale. I just upgraded to advanced:)
  12. Lol, what is this comment all about?
  13. I havn't used the original softie with the 50 sorry. I use my 50 for interior shooting and cs3e in WS4 for exterior. I only need extra wind protection for unexpected doco/reality situations which it is very effective for, the wind noise isn't as obtrusive as using foam. If you want to use the BBG as a proper outdoor solution with a 50 I would use the fur and upgrade to a INV-7 mount, that will cut out wind noise almost as effective as a WS kit.
  14. That's what I use on my 50 at the moment. I use it without fur, with fur I find it's too heavy for the rycote invison 6 suspension that I have (probably would work better with the inv-7). Without the fur there is wind noise in very gentle winds, definitely a lot better than just using the foam, but it would be nice to have something like a super shield which I imagine can be kept on all the time (I do mostly doco/reality) and not loose the light weight and finesse of the mic, like I find happens if you use the BBG with fur.
  15. I would buy one if it were lighter and more effective than BBG with no fur
  16. Is that still speculation as to as to what exactly "2-channel wireless receiver" means though? Or have you have it confirmed?
  17. Hmm do you really think it will only work with one TX? I'm holding out hope it will receive two mono signals...
  18. What's sitting above the RX12?
  19. Thanks, also after the width/height as I'm putting together a new case and want to know If I can the piano in there
  20. Can someone please post the rough dimensions of the piano? Can find them anywhere online:)
