it's a nice bag to have for the lightweight nature. but same problem as most bags for me, troubleshooting of inputs 1-6 is a problem I foresee since the Nomad has its connectors buried at the bottom. The AO1.5x is a tight fitting for 2 rx and 4 tx in the main compartment. I will b able to fit in another rx in that empty slot but the tx will hv to be stored somewhere else in the bag. how are you keeping the excess mic cables tidy on the wisycom transmitter when mic'ing up the talents? i used a rubber band to secure the excess cables but it is messy when i need to excess to the settings of the transmitter or change batteries. It used to work well on lectros..

i used to use QC frm Ktek. Failed on me couple of times, it depends on a nut to secure the base and it easily comes loose every few months. Takes a coin and a Gerber to release the nut from the base.. ever since i changed to Ambient, Base never leaves the boom pole tip.

I've been oggling at pictures on the internet but I can't get the information that i need. Does the ktek klassic's Bottom XLR exit and right angle XLR exit share the same TA3M connection internally, would i have to change the cable kit if i were to decide to switch my pole to a bottom XLR configuration?

even if signal is not distorted in the 32-bit recording because of Neverclip, when i mirror it to 24-bit audio there is a chance it may distort or clip bcos of the conversion?

Hi, This is pretty urgent. just did an firmware update on the VR FIeld Narrow band unit and it fail halfway. now the unit refuses to power up. any way to do a master reset without sending it back to the mothership? have a project coming up very soon that needs to use it.

Hi all, I was browsing on eBay and spotted some ambient lockits acl202 on sale and am interested. However after researching I realize there are different models with the same number , acl202 and acl202ct. The acl202 doesn't seem to support hd tri level sync, I like to know if my findings are true. I would prefer to have a lock it box that works with any modern cameras just in case one day I require that specification.. Thanks!

i believed the Pegz-3 extra large petrol or the AO-4 works. used to work with vrfield and 442 in it. the ao-4 will fit a 788/cl8 and vrfield but it will be a tight fit

Only issues I have with mine is its sensitivity to moisture... Here in sunny Singapore. in and out of an air conditioned area, and it outputs nothing but hums and "dropouts". Scrimping and saving for a 8050 now...

yes Jack it makes more sense to go for the 12 now. But I'm reluctant bcos of the downtime - local dealer in Singapore last mention it takes 12 weeks for a trip to mother ship..

I am already suspicious on the practicality of having an adjustable ring where my harness will be attached to because I own the old Petrol PEGz-1 which also has this adjustable d-hook system and it didn't really work very well for me.
