  1. Well... Turkey has different insurance policies then the US I do agree with Rado. 1300gram battery for bag work sounds too much to me. (Assuming that's the way you use it) I use 2*25amp for cart. Can't imagine using them on the go.
  2. I have 788 on my cart and 633 on bag. Same here. I'm still trying to get used to the extra touches that I didn't need before..
  3. Dude, good acting and product! Nice work Glenn!
  4. +1 for Rainman. One thing I do is, if I started the scene with Rainman on, I finish that scene with Rainman on even if it is not raining anymore. Engin
  5. Hi Jeff, Still appears to have the error. Just so you are aware. Thanks, Engin
  6. On June 29, 2007 Apple released iphone and since then "I" started to think that they are a company makes products for average consumer. Today, they are bigger and richer. Unfortunately we still don't have better overall alternative when it comes to computers but that doesn't change the fact that they are all made by a company that is aimed non-professional users at this point. I won't argue that! Maybe they always were. Well, I would argue that! Most of their reliable products didn't have gray aluminum casing. Not that it is the fault of Aluminum... Going back the OP. I'm not surprised. Thank you for the warning! Engin
  7. Congrats! We all knew it was an incredibly challenging team work! Well deserved.
  8. +1 Same here! My very first gig that I used my 633 on was for a show and had program material bleeding from mics obviously and the first thing I looked after was phase flip. I was SHOCKED when I realized that this basic function (for a high-end mixer/recorder) is not on all channels! Today I'm at a gig which I could totally use my 633 for but guess what, had to bring my 788 cart which is an overkill but I didn't want to take the risk! Phase limitation on 633 (and looks like 664 as well) is odd to me as I would think it is a software manageable function. Well... let me stop here before making more unrealistic assumptions because clearly it is not a simple software tweak and SD somehow couldn't do it. Engin
  9. Looks fantastic! If this works for me it will take away so much stuff out of the way !! What's the street price of it Ron? and when will it be available for purchase? Thank you, Engin
  10. +1 Pretty much summed it up! Lav cuts probably due to male actor putting some clothes off. Maybe on.
  11. Had OR-30 for my 633. Used it for couple of weeks with waist belt. Returned it back since it has design issues for waist belt use. (With harness it is better) Built quality and functionality was great! (also better than stingray) which I also used and returned back eventually before my Orca purchase. (P.S, I'm quiet careful with most items I purchase and almost never find myself in need to return back.) Current Petrol bags are serving me better and until the next generation (?) Orca or petrol (which I heard that the name is changing) I will hold on to them. Engin
  12. http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2015/01/29/korg-noritake-introduce-futuristic-nutube-vacuum-tubes/ I think this sounds amazing and have sooo much potential use! I also can not imagine how much more possibilities could come out of the design. What do you guys think? One thing, they should try to make the chips somehow look like a real tube I think or implement inside the design. Some fake bulb-like thing especially for the applications where the dimensions are not as problematic such as guitar heads and the "looks" are important !! at least to me. Engin
  13. Hmm... I am surprised to see no one mentioned (?) these new models. Anyone had a chance to play with one of those? http://www.rode.com/microphones/ntg4 Engin
  14. A new lav with 4 pattern options. While they don't list it as a lavalier microphone, due to the design/size I might just try it to see how it compares to my EMW which I actually don't use as often... Frequency Response: Omnidirectional: 20 Hz to 20 kHz Directional: 50 Hz to 20 kHz Overload Sound Level: 150 dB SPL at 1% THD Output Impedance: 600 Ohms +/- 2% balanced, transformerless. Will drive load impedance without distortion at full rated SPL. Equivalent Acoustic Noise: Omnidirectional: 25 dBA Directional: 29 dBA Power Requirements: 6V to 50V Phantom at 4mA. Voltage below 24V wil result in reduced overload SPL. Sensitivity: 1.4 mV/Pascal Dimensions: 5/16" x 5/8" x 5/32" (8mm x 16mm x 4mm) excluding cable strain relief. Cable Length: 5 Feet (wireless configurations) 10 Feet (hardwired configurations) Here is the link from their site; http://www.countryman.com/isomax-2-all-purpose-microphone
  15. Not sure if this was shared before but… http://www.ted.com/talks/michael_rubinstein_see_invisible_motion_hear_silent_sounds_cool_creepy_we_can_t_decide#t-693147 7:20 is where the experimentations related to sound starts at but I suggest you watch the whole video.
  16. Happy new years Jeff! Wishing you and your family and all our members a wonderful year. Engin
  17. I was checking out sweetwater and saw this on the new arrivals page; http://www.cymaticaudio.com/index.php/products/ Other than 24 track recorder, clock, 15V 1.5amp DC (that's 22.5 Watts) features, 2.7 second pre-roll (it says the pre-roll time changes due to track count, etc.. on the manual), markers, PFL (don't know if we could technically call this pfl), audio interface functionality, MAC/PC/iPad connectivity... Looks pretty cool. Missing data entry and TC and not expecting a "main recorder" reliability but... at this price, makes me wanna get it as a (little overkill) backup on my cart. And I gotta say I like the orange color and the oversized REC button.
  18. BTW, that's the link to the draw; http://www.orcabags.com/checkout/sound-landing-page/
