  1. Hope you get everything sorted out. I'm not a fusion user, but a nomad from Korea.
  2. Mine needs to be calibrated too. I am planing to do surround recordings, possibly 5.1 on my Nomad. Waiting for instructions.
  3. Thank you for great info. I am checking it now for my G2s and G3s.
  4. A carnet is necessary in my experience. Oh, I live in Korea.
  5. I have a 614 for my Noamd, but think a 614 looks too bulky for a 302 with 2 or 3 wirelesses.
  6. hahahahh....looking forward to figureing out what is that mic.
  7. I've got M310 and was the guy looking for any info about GefellM310 or so. I have some interview recordings out of the M310 somewhere in my computer. Let me get you some examples when time allows me. Just in one word, the mic is more than fantastic.
  8. Thank you. I didn't think about that.
  9. I've got the same low gain issue with my Cmit5u and reassigned inputs, outputs and card tracks for a instantant solution. My setup on Nomad 8 with a Cmit5u is: Put Cmit5u into channel 1(any one of 6 phantom inputs) to engage phantom power and pass the audio signal to Xlr Out 1 and remove the route Channel 1 to Card Track on the Bus Routing Menu. And hardwire the xlr out 1(line level) to Return 1(line level) with a short cable. Now I assign the Return 1 to Card Track 1. For this I have to give up one Return Channel but now have enough gain on such a low sensitive mic. If this routing is possible all softwarely, that should be more than wonderful.
  10. +1 that's what I am thinking.
  11. That's good information, what about DivaX/Fusion? Do they work the same way as Nomad does? Thanks for your effort on examing the New machine.
  12. what happened? Just curious cause I have been thinking of ordering Nomad and trying getting informatation from users. That post was worth to solve the current problem openly. Uhmmmm...
  13. Thank you for sharing a great information! Must be an awesome product on locations!
  14. I believe above is 2005 years frequency allocations, and now I am putting an graphic about that 2005's. Lately we are having some big changes on TV White Space since we have a plan to change Analogue TV to Digital at all by the end of this December, so we need to take a look around the DTV frequency blocks which are channel14(470khz)~51(698Khz)] and figure out proper frequency spaces in each region.
  15. Not an easy job to choose a mic. I will search more information. Thanks for your reply.
  16. That surely will gives me a good reference to the two mics. I really want to know how a Cs-2 sounds. Please give me your thought on the mics later. Thans for your reply.
  17. Impressive Korean, thanks for your two cents. Every body here recommends a 416. Uhm. I simply need a shot gun sounds like a Cmit and rugged like a 416. Thanks your suggestion, though.
  18. Thanks, John. Do you have any idea of how a 8060 sounds compared to Cmit and how about the durability?
  19. Thanks, Nick. Do you think a 8060 matches well with a cmit5u sound wise?
  20. Thanks, I know what you are saying about a 416. That's very rugged and sounds good, but I feel the sound of a 416 is simply not my taste. I need more natural sound from a mic within my budget, not over 1500$ for a shotgun.
  21. Hello friends over the seas! I 'm now looking for a proper mic to work with my current mics wich are one cmit5u and one gefell m310. I want make good sets of indoor mics and outdoor ones. So, I'm considering buying another gefell m310 to work for interior shots including car scenes, but my worry is to chose a mic for exterial shots. As I've said above that I have a cmit5u already, I may simply pick up another cmit5u but I'm not sure to get that one cause the price over 2000$. I mean that's too expensive and need more durable in any harsh conditions. My another consideration point is if I need two booms in a shot I need to match well with my cmit5u sound. So, I need any sugestions for a mic that matchs with cmit in sound wise. Any thougts would be helpful and thanked. Written from South Korea
  22. Sounds fantastic to me. If the 310 really work well exterior too, I will be more than happier. Anyway my mic is stuck for a clearance check at Customs Service. In few days, I'll get it. Thank you for your personal thoughts.
