Hello
I have read the posts about the handling-noise problems with Sennheiser MKH8050, but it is very tempting to try it as an indoor boom-mike.. For the price it seems like a good investment. I own the MKH 8020 omni and love the sound.
So: Have anyone tried the standard MZS 8000 shockmount from Sennheiser for this mike? Are there better alternatives?
I'm planning to use it with my Tascam HS-p82 recorder. It has HP-filter with variable frequenzy and slope (upto 18 db/oct) Will this take care of much of the handling-noise issues? Can I live without the extra hp-filter in the microphone?
Thanks,
Morten
