Thks Phil and Peter, When i talk "check sound files", i talk about safe copied files, not quality of sound. I know nobody will check every file, and never on my previuos films, or series, have cheked one by one,that happens as you describe it. In my contrat is not included to do bkups. The Prod, ask me to do the bkups, just for extra safety, but they know i'm not responsable for that.

It's the DIT speach, the prod thinks it's wrong, the dit company sais they're a post image house, the ones are going to do the 3D fx. The prod says they have a contract that specifies the will handle the sound along with the image. Anyway i'm going to do the bkups, as extra time. BTW: " Sometimes i copy the hd of my Cantar, because i want to have some nice atmos, or fx i recorded, " the recordings you make for your client are usually their intellectual property, as, unless otherwise clearly specified, you are making them for them as a work for hire. I know, but anyway. Sometimes i leave set to record atmos i like at lunch.

Hi, i' m on set now, in a 12 weeks HBO series. The other day, for the first time in my life, after 3 weeks of shooting, the DIT asked to me to do my own bkup, because they ( the house post prod that provides equipment and DIT on set ) cannot check every sound take, so the CF i provide them is just to sync for daylies ( even if they do 3 copies of all sound in different discs). So they say they're not responsables for the "healthy " of the sound i provide at the end of the day, because it's not all checked. Sometimes i copy the hd of my Cantar, because i want to have some nice atmos, or fx i recorded, but not for security reasons. Anyone has experienced the same speech, and has been in the same position before? Thanks Fabian

Hello group, In some weeks i'll start a feature with a sony F55. Never work with before. I'll like to know if the internal clock is accurate as the alexa one, or if it drifts and i'll need to ask for a external clock. Thanks for sharing your experiences, Fabian Uruguay

Response to 2: I use g3 and g3. But i sent mix to cameras, sound goes to video Asist in SDI along with picture, and i use another tx, in another freq for cliente, director, script etc, so they have playback Enviado desde mi iPad con Tapatalk

Hi, how are you. I'm driving it with a sennheiser G2 TX, with the G3 ifb 300 receiver. I'm at top on the TX, if i apply more, i distort and compress a lot. If i raise more the volume in the RX, noise floor comes, and the signal doesn´t goes up, just distortion. The senn. system is ok, with normal headphones i've plenty of power...even with poor mp3 in ear headphones. I have the impression that when new, noise floor of the system was higher than now ( just the in ear, without loop around), it seems as it lost power. ? The diference between the system and a normal mp3 earpiece is huge!

Hello group, i've a psc inductive earpiece from2 years ago, used 20 times with care. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/377563-REG/PSC_FPSC0037_Wireless_IFB_Inductive_Earpiece.html Today i test it for a job ( music playback) and the level is realy low. I clean it, fresh bateries but the sound remains low. Critical for the job, cause it will be shooted in the street ( no too mutch transit). Someone has a tip to make it born again?. I´ve see that he has some sort of volume control, (kind of lectro 210 adjusting freq), it seems to be a t full position after tests. I need realy more power.....and i shoot this night. Any ideas? Hello, done. Problem solved. Today i opened the tx, make some general cleaning, i've blowered some compressed air from the top ( i've not dismantle the top because i was on location, and i've not had the allen needed to do that), i've applied contact cleaner and voila. It worked again. Before the compressed air i've no see any residue, or particle that can obstruct the normal operation, but obviously some thing was there. Anyway the point that still surprise me, is why the off position, makes me lost pilot function, even if it continue working..... Happy end. Thanks for your enlightment. See you Fabian

Hello group, today i've encountered a problem with a Lectro UM200C tx. Today i encountered a strange thing even if the answer can be bad switch. When i turn off the tx, the light remains on, the transmission too, but i loose the pilot function. If i turn pilot off on my 210 rx, i have normal transmission. Where can be the problem?...a switch problem?, but the pilot thing .. Very strange to me. Thanks for your advice!! Fabian Oliver Uruguay in the middle of a feature
