    It also appears to have very limited depth of field so, even though you can manipulate the focus, it comes at low resolution quality. I guess they won't totally replace focus-pullers just yet.

    The contraption that allows you to digitize to your smartphone is reminiscent of the old film viewers with the hand crank. This looks like fun for a hobbyist.

    It may be related to the fact that the Japanese write from right to left.

    Thanks for the pics and video. I've been wasting a lot of moleskin and, even though it's cheap, it's good to have a system for everything. I'm going to your moleskin microphone arrangement.
