  1. A removable gooseneck LED on the top shelf. Next thing will be a script holder.
  2. Yes, the boom cups are made of aluminum pipe with end caps. Easy and cheap. But everything have not been easy but really fun. And somehow I can't stop thinking about more and more modifications. Now I'm thinking about putting some USB outlets somewhere.
  3. Some upgrades for 2016. - a silly little basket for a silly little cart - LED strips under shelves with separate dimmers - Cable management - a rail on the top for magic arms etc
  4. Hi, I can't upload any images. I've tried small 500kb files, still the same answer as the title is.
  5. Aha... I missed that. Great:) thanks. John
  6. Good to hear! I still would like to know a couple of things before I switch my 788/cl8 for aRX4+When connected to RC8+ or the AD8+, how does the future control unit with faders connect to the RX4+?I wished that there were another port then the AES multipin for controllers, so that wireless receivers could be connected to the RX4+ at all times, so it would be easy to go between the RC8+/AD8+ and the fader control unit. Bag vs cart mode. Like it it's done with the 788/CL8 and 788/CL9. Or how would you do it? For example: If I'm in bag mode with the RX4+ and AD8+ or theRC8+, all wireless would be connected through the AES breakout TA3 connectors on the RC8+ or the XLR's on the AD8+. If I then go with the fader controller for cart mode, would I have to disconnect the AD8+/RC8+? Ive read this thread 3 times but still haven't figured out the connections/controller philosophy. Kind regards john
  7. Thanks. I have a couple of SRb's (22 & 24) and I'm tired of the 788's RF garbage and weight. So I'm seriously thinking about to dump my 788 for a RX4+
  8. How is the RX4+ regarding RF-spray? John
  9. Hi, I just bought myself the mini Lemo cable and are about to solder a XLR on the other end. I can't view the pin configuration picture here in the thread, anyone remember? regards John
  10. I found it on eBay. It's pretty good, I guess there are more solid alternatives but it works for me. It's called Grifiti http://www.grifiti.com
  11. Yes, it's light enough for me to lift it up by myself into the back of my car. But those shelves are made of steel and weights about 4kg each... So I have thoughts of having aluminum shelves instead. And to put in a couple of custom made drawers. Regarding the fur. It's a Cinela Piano with the long fur. It got pretty long hair but Cinela have anothe fur for the Piano with extra long hair as well...
  12. First time on set. Its not 100% yet but works great.
  13. My cart isn't 19" so I need to find someone that can make me a custom made aluminum drawer. I've seen some company in the U.S. That makes these but can't find any I Europe. I I bought a half rack drawer but it's made of steel (weight a lot) and isn't really the right size. Anyone here know where to look? I'm located in Sweden. Kind regards John
  14. Ok, got it. They are simple paper stickers, nothing special at all. They doesn't have that plastic feeling that Sound Devices color dots has. I found them in my grocery store. And I painted those colors that was missing. I put my color stickers on there a couple of years ago, and they are still there. But I guess that would depend on if they get wet a lot. But since they cost almost nothing it doesn't matter:)
  15. The petrol bag opens up at the sides, to reach the scrolling wheels. I always use them except for the shortcuts I've made in the menu. No problems at all. Yes, I use the CL-WiFi on cart. I adjust the HP level in the only possible way (that I know of), meaning the scrolling wheel. The color coded markings are just another way of reading 1-8. For me it's easier to remember a color then a number. And my transmitters and receivers have them as well.
  16. Great bag but with the PSC six pack it adds 900g:( But for jobs on cart it's awesome:)
  17. I have now made the cart even more narrow by putting the wheels behind it. Width: 36,5cm (14,3") Depth: 55cm (21,6") Height: 102cm (40,1") And I changed the 8"x 2" wheels to 10"x 2,75"
  18. I recently used the Sony plug-on transmitter (wireless boom), and it was very good. Transparent sound, never even heard a limited working. The receiver that were used without remote antennas, performed extremely well. Without dropouts and range issues. But when signal overloaded the sound just distorted, a bit too much. 19. I have an iPhone 6, iOSX8 and just upgraded the Tapatalk to the latest version. Anyone more than me that can't view any pictures? Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk
  20. I got ads, and can't either search or see any photos... Is there something I must do to see photos? Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk
  21. Thanks for the idea! I'm not sure where I could mount a spud... My plan was to just put a super clamp (cart side)- magic arm - super clamp to a simple golf umbrella. Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk
  22. Hi! Nice job. I have my bolts the other way around, with the heads up. And cut of everything below the nuts. It's not flush but as low as possible. Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk
  23. I can't find the SL-6's weight on Sound Devices webpage. Does anyone here know? Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk
  24. Hmm, you're probably right. How is it with the OSIX CCM-LU? Better? Maybe I should change the minix for that one. Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk
