  1. Then we have to make a modification of the B5D so it works as it should. Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk
  2. I have the same sounds coming from the B5D when used with cmc6/mk41 but not as strong. I have inspected it and it looks good inside, nothing is between the plastic cage and the outer foam. I'm starting to think that maybe the windshield does sound like this when "rattled". The minix isolator is more "loose" then my invision7 (cmc6mk41), witch makes the ccm shake more. And I'm not talking about shaking the boom, it's really small vibrations that makes the B5D sound like this. Regarding the wooshing, it's the same as with the cmc6mk41, a third oct. filter would help me here. I've read that the Rycote Tac!T pick ups interference... Any other choices? Maybe I have to forget about this windshield and get the foam filled B5. But it bothers me. Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk
  3. Yes, the ccm41 is wonderful, the minix is amazing and the B5D have always been terrific. But still this combination gives me headache. I will try to reproduce the B5D's whoosh and fabric sound with the cmc6/mk41. Since the B5D is the cheapest part, I hope it's broken in some way. Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk

  5. I just bought a ccm41/minix/B5D and I also have some different noise issues. The first is probably the same wooshing sound as this topic describes in the first post. I can't hardly move it sideways without hearing a woosh. A year ago I used the exact same combination and had no issues even though I often used it in fixed positions. I have used the B5D with my cmc6/mk41 combo for years without any issues. The other "noise" was more annoying. With small vibrations/rattle movements the B5D sounded like fabric moving. When I changed windscreen to a small 100% foam, this noise disappeared. So that noise must have been made from the B5D alone, if I don't miss anything here. Maybe I have a broken B5D? Anyone recognize the sounds I'm describing? I've mailed both Schoeps, Cinela the reseller and waits for their answers. Any suggestions or solutions? Regards John Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk
  6. I want it too... made in Europe. Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk
  7. Its a standard 14" wide Magliner E1 nose plate. Mounted upside down. Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk
  8. Thanks! So it's probably time to get new ones:) Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk
  9. I have some Maha Powerex 2700mah that are a couple of years. I measured them the other day to 2200mah. When is it wise to change them out for new ones? The Imedions that I bought at the same time where 2400mah and are 2200mah as well. I still easily get 5-6h with them but will they drop faster now that they are a few years? 10. Today I found the perfect foldable handle, placed under the nose. Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk
  11. Thank you! No. I it won't fold. But when the wheels has changed position the width will be 14,5"/37cm and height 40"/102cm. The depth I don't know yet. So I guess it would fit in almost any car if a seat is folded and the cart rolled in on its back. John Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk
  12. Thanks. But the upside down nose wasn't my idea, I've seen it here on jwsound before:) Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk
  13. I will add more photos as the cart gets modified. And when the gear I've ordered gets here. On my to do list are: -Handle underneath the nose plate -LED strips underneath the shelves with dimmers -Move the wheels to have them behind the cart -Bigger wheels -Umbrella holder -45Ah LiFe Peli battery and power distribution from Audioroot -PSC RF six pack in the bag with low profile Kortwich snake. -RF venue diversity antenna Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk
  14. Hi! My name is John and I work as a sound engineer in Sweden. Often alone but sometimes as sound mixer or boom operator. I have been around on jwsound a couple of years now. And there are so many of you that has inspired me, in different ways. I have probably read and seen all of your bags and carts over and over. Memorized details and collected inspiration. A couple of months ago I decided to build me a bag cart for an upcoming job. Since I'm all for "DIY", I would love to have it made with 8020 aluminum frames etc. But I didn't dare to do it and would probably not afford it... So I decided to go with the Magliner stuff. I have worked with a lot of different carts but I have always felt that they were too big and too wide. So I want my cart to be as narrow as possible, but still rigid and fully functional without compromises. And since I don't like to sit too far from set or next to video village, a smaller cart can get closer to set so I can through in another boom if needed. I've spent a lot of time thinking about this and it starts to get the way I wanted. I thought I could share my ideas with you as a "thanks for the inspiration" and maybe some of you gets inspired as well. I still have some stuff on it's way, so it's not done yet. But soon. Kind regards John Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk

  16. Why don't keep the gear in the case with the lid open. Then just close the lid when moving. Saves time and is more secure. Do you store the cases somewhere else? Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk
  17. I did some tests with Maha batteries on SMB and SMDB: SMB 50mW Imedion 2400mah: 4.30h Powerex 2700mah: 5h 250mW Powerex 2700mah: 2h SMDB 50mW Imedion 2400mah: 9h Powerex 2700mah: 10.45h 100mW Powerex 2700mah: 9.15h 250mW Powerex 2700mah: 5h Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk

  22. I use the Cinela Kelly. And it's great. But I guess not what you're looking for. My tips would be to just have a lot of furs, and change when they are soaked. And cross your fingers that the gear doesn't get hurt. Skickas från min iPhone via Tapatalk I use the Cinela Kelly. And it's great. But I guess not what you're looking for.
