    I actually use the clips they are amazing! Still on frustrating on reality shoot when talent tries to de mic the self and drop the transmitter on the ground,then try to catch it by pulling on the wire.

    I'm interested to see what type of cases people use to protect LA and LT Transmitters while on talent. I seen a previous thread about this. But it looks like Amazon is sold out of the leather cellphone cases that were recomended.

    I dunno I'll let you know what mine looks like. I know they aren't jumping at the chance to swap out the Mics.... I would at least send them your serial number.

    There is a picture on this site somewhere. Just looks like o small o ring around the divit where the Xlr adapter and mic attach.

    I purchased a used MKH 8060 on eBay. I emailed back and forth with Sennheiser. They would not tell me the serial # ranges for the recall. But I did send them my Serial # (Serial # 1143001862). All I was told was is that my serial number fell within the recall and to send the mic in. Even though it was out of warranty they are replacing it. They didn't seem happy about it but they did do it...

    I never noticed drift. I always ran TC. But plenty of gigs never had complaints on drift

    I used to use a R44 Pro (TC version). I didn't notice TC drift when I used it with a Lockit on Camera... As a very basic recorder for small uncomplicated shoots its fine. Not the nicest thing ever but works.

    Hey, I'm looking for USB serial cables to connect my QRX100s to my QRX 100IFB. Can anyone make these for me? Or point me in the direction to where I can purchase them. I asked a dealer and they seem to be super expensive... Figured I'd ask here

    I sent my 102 Klassik pole in to KTek a couple weeks ago for basic maintence. It was extremely affordable, fast and the pole looks and operates like new. Worth sending in to them

    My logic is using what I have. I have used Monster Cards with Zaxcom machines for 3 years with zero Issues. Anyways the manufacturer agreed to replace the card.(which I'll keep but will be my last resort using the card just incase.) Plus Howy told me how to possibly recover the data. I will be trying to recover the data but I'm still all good bc I have the Transmitter backup.

    Hey, I'm on a gig, and my CF card won't load on my Maxx. It's not recognized (I recorded on it yesterday with no issues) Thank god I'm using my Zax 742, am rolling on it and sending scratch to camera. Anyone else ever have this issue? Is it possible to recover media off of the card? Should I just trash the CF card? Its a 32GB Monster CF card.

    I agree I like having a camera mic on 1 input as well. Just in case. Great idea to disable on/off switch. I have mine in the Orca case which at least has a plastic cover over the switch.

    I asked this. "2 XLRs are because so many cameras can’t switch a single input into two inputs on the camera. Makes it an easy way to make sure left and right are always getting fed. Editors get really mad when the audio is only on one side. It screws up their mono aggregated signal."

    I have a TRX900 and a STA 150. I was having the same issue tonight. I was looking to use it as a stereo Recorder for a live show from the board. I shut off the TX and just set it to Stereo and Record. I sent Tone out bus 1&2 on my Maxx and adjusted the volume pots on the STA150 but couldn't visually see any signal... Kinda weird... I have both 1k and 2k filters off...

    I assume it's possible but figured I'd ask. Is it possible to have the 3 pin lemo inline and still have the ability to go XLR on a Sanken Cub 01? I've seen this wiring setup for lectro wireless

    I have the small Stingray bag... It's awesome. Works well with my Maxx for run and gun has a decent amount of room for storage

    i have owned the KTek Harness for 3 weeks now. After getting the hang of the harness its just as fast as any other harness but there is a slight learning curve. But the payoff is amazing. I've done quite a few long days in a row run and gun with it. It's amazing how well it works. at the most my shoulders are slightly sore but no back pain like I used to have using my old harness.
