    Nomad 12 has an additional Linux processor that the 10 and Lite doesn't have - it's this processor that handles the processing necessary to run both the Touch and Oasis. You can upgrade a Lite or a 10 by having the Linux board installed - but that requires a trip back to Zaxcom. All you need to do is contact Zaxcom and arrange for the upgrade.

    Thanks Jack. But I am in China now....So taking myNomad10 back to Zaxcom...haha......I shouldn't bought the Nomad10.I thought that 12 's another USB just for the external HD or coding mp3.....

    Love your idea. May be I can use my Nomad10 as a Digital-Preamps to recording some classic concert.About multi-tracks I think we need some gear that can trans AES to ADAT (Most of better Interface has ADAT) .There are two 1U(A half U )RME gears can do that. 

    ADI-192 DD 
    • 4 x AES/EBU I/O (XLR)
    • 2 x ADAT I/O (optical)
    • 2 x TDIF I/O (D-sub)
    • 1 x SPDIF I/O (optical)
    • 1 x Word Clock I/O

    Zhu, I'm begging you, please don't put that tape on anyone's skin. Ouch!

    In China.We don't stick talent's body too.Only sticking on the cloth.

    Thanks，Thomas,But it's difficult to buy your Ebook to me，cause I only have a China zone APPLE ID,cant buy your book  in Chinese itunes. And an new USA APPLE ID can't accept my Chinese VISA。。must be a local card....But I'll figure out 。

    Yes on top of the pole. 90' antenna reduces RFI into my CMIT very effectively.

    If ALWAYS double check the XLR did snap with a click, the 742 should stay in place. Human error does happen and I wanted to add more safety after 2 times of seeing it falling to the ground.

    $65 - peanuts for what it does - peace of mind. I highly recommend a redesign of the 742 cone to Zaxcom. Even better -  have a locking mechanism like Sennheiser´s SKP or Lectro. The 742 is just to heavy and expensive to rely on that XLR connector only.

    Matthias，Do you get TRX742 on the top of pole too? I have never had mine fall off,I used Ambient QATTOP TIP to mount 742,but still have a RFI problem with Sanken CS3e。。。。Why did you use 90° Angle Whip Antennna？

    Last midnight,I tested my gear.Unfortunately,I have this RFI problem too.......

    Sanken CS3e ---> Canare 30cm---->TRX742 B26---->Rycote Blimp plus Ambient QAT Top Tip---> loud RFI

    Sanken CS3e ---> Canare 30cm---->TRX742 B26---->Sennheiser Blimp-------> Very loud RFI

    Neumann KM183/184--->Any way setup--->Clean

    Why No one tell me before I bought two CS3e and Two 742.....

    I never said it was, just sharing that if you lose power or running on very low voltage the file you have a good chance of never recovering the current file that you are recording.

    e...Hey guys. recently,i want to  buy my own recorder,and i love 664,it suit for me.but I have some questions.The biggest one is the amp--the sound quality.Somebody told me is a mixer so you don't compare it with SD 7s recorders.but I want to know the 'distance' between 664 and 744(788's DR is too good).I read their spes.I found some different.but i don't understand THD + Noise what it specific is....here these are:788 THD + Noise Mic: 0.004% max (1 kHz, 22 Hz–22 kHz BW, gain control down, -15 dBu input) Line: 0.004% max (1 kHz, 22 Hz–22 kHz BW, gain control down, +16 dBu input)

         664:0.09% max (1 kHz, 22 Hz–22 kHz BW, fader at 0, 0 dBu output) 

    The different is 20 times more?! 

    Please Forgive my poor english...and thanks for reply...
