  1. Can I ask why you chose the FTC over the NV200? Was it the 2013 or 2014 model? Still on the fence....
  2. Ask Lectro. They can tell you if its been reported stolen.
  3. I've been using the iPower charger, but I'm guessing the fast charging can't be great on the batteries. I'm planning on getting the Tenergy 6-bay.
  4. Chevrolet seems to have picked up the NV200 and rebranding as the City Express.
  5. If I remember from the other thread you chose this over the FTC because of comfortability due to your body height? I'm still leaning towards a FTC (old-style) simply because of the cargo height. The difference between the 2013 FTC and the NV200 is about 6 inches.
  6. There are a ton of these password apps like LastPass and Keepass. Have I tried them? No, but I've been using 1Password for several years now. Pricey, but well worth the money. A lot easier pressing Apple + rather than remembering 50 something passwords!
  7. I still prefer searching directly from Google because of the limited result page. If you could patch ip.board for that url4short spam code injection issue that's been plaguing the site that would be great.
  8. It got a little choppy when I moved to iOS 5, but I've been able to deal with the iPad 1. I would also recommend that people go for the iPad Mini w/ retina rather than the non-retina. Mainly because the retina version is using the newer processor whereas the older mini is about two generations back (iPhone 4s chip).
  9. 16gb does more than enough for me.. even with all my audio apps i still have a good 8gb left for scripts and manuals. I don't have any audio or video on it though.
  10. I know what I'm in for as well. I've used Apple products for over 10 years and have been on iOS since day 1. Yes, sure the Apple Ecosystem is an issue for people who want their freedom... but like you said, they have their reasons for blocking downgrades, and most, if not all of them are valid. It's pretty much a catch-22 for them. Cut off iOS upgrades earl, and have people complain, or cut them later and still have people complain. If its an issue, don't upgrade.
  11. I just upgraded from iPad 1 to the iPad mini retina last week.. I'm a happy customer.
  12. 5.4 is fine here. I'm hoping the next version is out by the end of the year.
  13. It doesn't matter if the RF signal is transmitting video, data, or audio. If there is RF signal hitting your receiver on your selected frequency, its going to show up on your 411 display. Check your compatibility setting on your 411.
  14. Check your compatibility mode. If not, send to Lectrosonics
  15. Hate to revive an old thread, but does anyone know the specs for the polyfuse used in the BDSV2? EDIT: Cracked open the box, for future reference for anyone searching.. its showing Raychem 16V GF600 which translates out to part# RGEF600. 16. Looks great. I would have lost it if we had to pay for a UI update for iOS 7.
  17. Then don't upgrade until an update comes out. You said it yourself, you can't downgrade if anything goes wrong. Most apps were pretty finicky if they weren't updated to work with iOS 7 so I would treat it as that. IMO you should treat it like any of your sound hardware.. if you know there are possible issues with a firmware version would you update your recorder to it?
  18. I don't really notice anything on my iPhone.. I can't update my iPad 1 to iOS 7 so I can't tell you how it's working out on there.

  20. It would be nice if PureBlend would implement some other sort of syncing with iCloud or some other cloud service. I hate pulling my iPad off the cart and carrying it around when going to a quick bag situation.
  21. AFAIK the only way to do this is by buying the Timecode Sync Plugin and syncing through wi-fi with both devices on the same network. In the User Guide go to Timecode Sync Plugin and look for One-Time Syncing A Complete Set of Production Data From Another Movieslate. I've never done it, but it seems like quite a bit of work... especially if you have to go back and forth between devices.
  22. I really only found humidity issues if the contacts between the modules and capsule were dirty. I just had my CMC441 w/ CUT1 serviced earlier this year and still haven't heard any motor boating or farty noises in humid situations.
  23. I guess I'll be the guinea pig for this one. The iPower 9v charger is marketed for Li-ion, Li-Polymer, NiCd and NiMH. So I'm going to go ahead and assume that it can do the job as the Tenergy charger.... Just at a faster speed.
