I'm just wondering about the long-term use of the Tenergy 9V. I was always under the impression that lithium poly can maintain their capacities longer than lithium ions. I'm in need of replacing a number of my iPowers, so I'd really like to see how these hold up. $25 vs $5 is huge.

Sorry, I left out the key detail that the vehicle will be stationary for these scenes in studio and will have green screen through the windows.

Within a couple months I'll be working on a feature and it involves a couple days of work inside a limousine with 2-5 characters through various scenes. EDIT: This will be shot in studio. No trailer rig or follow vehicle needed. Aside from wiring everyone up, I'm wondering what kind of plant mics or interior boom positioning that I could implement that has worked for people in the past to get a more natural sound. I believe I saw an image of a crew shooting in a limousine a while back, boom was from the front of the cab, and a couple of plants to ceiling. Any neat tips and tricks? Thanks in advance!

You need to convert from SD to HD. Use a Blackmagic Design converter box?

You can't. Try using a different browser other than Safari. There's chrome, dolphin, opera and dozens more.

The common s/n is: 111505 at the xlr end and 00111505 on the box.

Can you take a picture of the XLR connector where the S/N is at?

Thanks for your review on the TC Buddy. I'm certainly on board to make the purchase of the system when the mini trx start shipping next month. So I certainly like to hear about people's usage. Considering some iOS devices weren't all lined up in frames, did anyone try setting an offset to all the iOS devices in the TCB app to compensate? Also, if the iOS devices were trying to jump off the network, does that mean they had "Ask to Join Network" setting turned on on their iPhones? Did they "Forget This Network?" for each known wi-fi network they've logged on to in the venue? Perhaps that could have prevented the attempts to hop off the TCB network. I'm also thinking if someone brought a wireless router and setup the TCB into 'infrastructure' mode the range issues could have been solved.

I can't be the only one clinging to the life of these connectors. I have two reasons. 1. They provide somewhat of a 'locking' feature to the 411a when you're DC powering with a right angle connector. The new ones don't allow that due to size. 2. I like the flat side of the right angle XLR for when I'm resting my boom pole. Perhaps not a big deal keeping those around.... but I like them!

Does anyone know the size of the screws used in the old 'flat' right angle Neutrik female XLR connectors? I'm trying to get my hands on replacements.

You're not the only one wanting these things... Have you been on the SD forums? We've been asking for certain features for the 788T for months and months.

In another thread someone said the CSV doesn't exactly fit the MovieSlate app. A lot of editing still needs to take place once imported. The app hasn't been updated since late 2011 so anything 'cl-wifi' is probably on the back burner to their newly released products.
