  1. Wish @glenn luck! I had a FB problem and they do not have any humans you can interact with... so nothing got solved. Ive read about people who have gone to Best Buy to purchase an Oculus (and return it later), then they actually have a support phone number to contact, and can interact with your profile; as you need one to connect to the headset.... Crazy!
  2. Cosi with the built in xlr for the 8060 for doc work, run and gun. Very compact, all rounder. 2nd 8060 in a pianissimo, narrative or controlled corporate outdoors. Have done Rycote, multiple generations ; will be sticking with Cinela for sure.
  3. Gotham Sound just made me a bunch of custom cables, have had good experiences with Gene Martin on custom cables as well.
  4. Geez. Sorry to hear, hope you get it back. I had my main camera stolen from my car a few years back, police didn't seem too interested in following up. At least insurance was fairly easy to deal with.
  5. I asked about hearing some samples when Gotham was doing their live chat with Sony, as the lack of cable noise is very interesting!
  6. I do something similar, except my TC comes out of a Maxx into the IFB board of a QRX235, might just be the display. I run 3 cameras often and I also edit, and the sync is not off.
  7. Pretty sure that is the Goldline/Stereoline version. I think the receiver is the same as the RX900s, and I might be mistaken - but I'm pretty sure they use the same modulation as US/Mono on newer stuff. https://manualzz.com/doc/6997448/zaxcom-goldline-stereoline-user-manual
  8. Thanks Howy! The ZMT in question is running 3.03 and I'll be sure to check the firmware on the 2 ZMTs that I should be getting this week.
  9. I tested and the behavior if I turn the ZMT3 on, record then eject the card - the same exclamation point appears; so perhaps it was user error on my part for my situation. I cannot be sure at this point. I'll certainly be paying better attention to my fingers around the sd port from now on, and making sure that even if REC is displayed on my receiver, to double check the screen before it makes its way onto the talent.
  10. This happened to me today in fact, I've started to email with Zaxcom support. What I noticed is that there was an exclamation point next to the hours meter (timing remaining), before I manually stopped the recording. I'm going to test tomorrow if the behavior is the same if I eject the card - that way I'll know if its perhaps the card that is faulty, the one that was supplied with the unit - I've not had this happen with sandisk cards on my other transmitters. Oh, and be sure to contact Zaxcom support, I'm going to see if they want the files off my card to see if there is anything that they can figure out from looking at the files themselves.
  11. My main pole is a VDB L with the internal cable, works great - easy to maintain. You just have to make sure you put some kind of stopper on the top section below the exit point of the cable to avoid it being decapitated.
  12. Interesting, I'll likely get some Lectro batteries once my Fujis get up there in their cycles.
  13. Fujitsu np-50, which is 1000mah, in a Zaxcom ZMT3, didn't want to risk my gear or job with 'off brand' batteries.
  14. I've had my cs-m1 distort when filming a BTS video for a music video and he was a power metal type vocal, I had two different gains set and still had some distortion with headroom left on my levels. I haven't tested further, as it was plugged directly into my C200, and I chalked it up to the lower quality preamps... it's on my list of things to do, testing it with my Zaxcom Maxx. Haven't had any down time !
