  1. Have been reminded that we've been hanging out together every weekend for a year. A year. Well, a bit more than a year, but have never been good at hitting anniversaries on the day. Plan to pour a glass later in celebration. It's been a successful endeavor, for I've made deeper friendships with colleagues than I ever thought possible, and my professional life is more rich as a result. Dare say I'm not alone in that conclusion. Good for us.
  2. https://talkgadget.google.com/hangouts/extras/talk.google.com/soundie%20hangout?authuser=0&hl=en&eid=113298563688326896343# Don't know how many of you are yet on G+, but their video conference thingee inspires me... The above links to a soundie G+ hangout I plan to keep open all day today. After the EST sun is over the yardarm, I have what's left of S4's McCallum bottle ready to ingest, but prefer to consume it with friends Ah-hem. Perhaps the regular weekend video conference meeting that was successful in another community with which I am familiar would also prove successful for us in terms of extending and deepening our connections around the world. G+ will reportedly soon launch a native capacity to "broadcast" and archive video hangouts. That will add a lot of value to the extant 10-people-to-an-instance limit, unrecorded. Anyway, I'm re-wiring Cart 3.0 today and would be grateful for intermittent G+ interruptions. -- Jan
