  1. Dear All, hello. I am new to this forum and I am delighted to have been accepted. Good to meet you all. I have a request for some wiring advice. As a former broadcast engineer I should know the answer but audio post was always my thing, not radio kit. I have acquired some old Micron TX101 transmitters and receivers. I have also managed to acquire two lemo 8-pin connectors and I want to connect a Sony ECM-77b or 55b with XLR battery packs to the transmitters via an adapter cable (phantom not required as will be using batteries). However, I am not sure of the correct wiring of these cables. I discovered a really good general wiring document online from Danish broadcaster Channel 6 that has two possibilities and I have attached a screen-grab. I presume I should go with the first option but I would appreciate some knowledgeable advice. Thanks in advance. TX101 ScreenGrab.tiff
