  1. I have two pairs of LT/LRs and after using them two weeks I have a question. The LR scan seems optimized for only one channel. I settled on turning all transmitters off during the first scan. Then, leave the first transmitter on and do a scan for the second channel and so on. Seems to work and FreqFinder hasn't reported any IM conflicts yet. Question: Are IM products somehow calculated in the above scenario? Sennheiser G3 scan lists consist of bands that are IM compatible but this doesn't seem to be the case with the L-series. It'd be nice to not have to do the FreqFinder step.
  2. a palm-sized scanner. the spectrum analyzer is a handy and affordable palm-sized box that scans a range of frequencies and tells you what’s nearby. http://livedesignonline.com/sound/closer-look-rf-explorer-scanning-wireless-world?NL=LIVE-03&Issue=LIVE-03_20130523_LIVE-03_716&YM_RID=peterlopata@yahoo.com&sfvc4enews=42
  3. Hi all, Pretty new to field sound. Ive recently been having issues with scanning for clear freq's. i have 4 lectrosonic 411a's. maybe im doing it wrong? my way: Turn on all receivers and transmitters. let sit for a couple seconds. then, turn off all transmitters. Scan with all 4 receivers ( blocks 19,20,(2)21's ) at the same time. find the clearest location on each rx and tweak on all matching tx's. everything is fine until i place them on the talent. It seems like i cant be any more than 10 feet away from all 4 without losing full signal. any suggestions would be great. thanks
