I am willing to do just about any job out there at this point, Lately I have been trying to mix first, boom second, do audio post third, edit fourth and after that I'll AC, grip, PA, whatever. I'd rather do sound but I am trying to cobble together a living and it ain't easy in Missoula, Montana.
In the past six months alone I have done lots of free sound on short films/conferences and gotten paid to cut trailers, produce and direct a short, author DVD's, really whatever I can do that people need done.
I can travel anywhere on short notice and have an RV I can live in if necessary. I have a 442, a DR-680, a Lectro 411/SMa, a Schoeps CMC641, a Sennheiser 416, boompole, the know-how to use it, a damn fine work ethic and lots of funny stories.
I also can edit fast in FCP7 and know Movie Magic scheduling and lots of other software. I was an IT guy and accountant in my former life and am very good with organization and technology. Oh yeah, I am also a pretty decent guitar player.
If you need help, know anyone who does or can give me any advice on how to find more work, I would totally appreciate it. I love this forum, enjoy the characters on it and read it almost daily.
Thanks,
Mike
