  1. I ended up cutting off a bit more than half of the curly cord. It really helped clean up my bag not having 5 feet of headphone cable dangling from me. I think the 3.5mm female jack on the ear cup is cool, but I wouldn't use it. I don't see any advantage, other than being able to use any aux cable as your headphone input.
  2. Here are a few pics of a little addition I recently made to my mix bag (Petrol PEGZ-1F) workflow that I wanted to share with all of you. Found this Logitech Keys-To-Go Bluetooth keyboard (http://support.logitech.com/en_ca/product/keys-to-go-ipad) at Best Buy, which has been handy for punching notes into the Sound Report Writer app on my iPhone between takes. The interfacing with iOS isn't perfect for navigating through the app's text fields (I'm hoping to find a way to map out custom key commands to tab around more easily between fields, OR fingers crossed.. this will improve with an app up
  3. Which manufacturers are making the most innovative custom sound carts and accessories?
  4. After the huge response and great level of constructive input that I received working with the JW users, Portabrace are now pushing forward with a custom audio bag service. The concept of custom bags is by no means a new one. But after reading through all of the feedback regarding the AO developments, it is clear that more options are needed to cater for the thousands of different equipment setups and personal user requests and preferences. I will work directly with anyone requesting a custom or modified bag, and I look forward to developing some new products and ideas along the way.
  5. Here is a picture of my custom Stereo XY mic setup for use with the RODE Blimp, x2 Apex 185 Cardiods. 185 Mount is Attached to a Bendable Tripod (Via Tape) and the tripod is bent around the Blimp to line up the capsules.
