hey everyone, i hope you all had a great 2012. i just recieved a 2012 economic census for sound recording studios and other sound recording industries form in-51207 in the mail for my company. this is the first i've ever had something like this and looking to some of you guys to see if you've encountered something similar? there's a list of breakdowns of income, a lot of studio based type of stuff, which i don't do any of. things like "Studio recording services for music clients", "Sound editing and design services for audio visual services" and "licensing of rights to use music". about the only thing on the list that i can relate my business to is "live audio recording services" which gets broken down into a. audio recording of meetings, conferences and seminars and b. audio recording of other events. which i might have done 3-5 jobs that would fall into those categories. so i'm a little concerned that my business may be labelled incorrectly with the IRS and that i should be filling out a different form. i've contacted my accountant to see if she has any ideas, which is probably the best choice. but just wanted to reach out to the sound community to see if you guys had any suggestions. thanks

Um, Im very confused. We have our own private health care. Yet the nation will be gearing up with Obama care. There will be a 'tax' I keep hearing about. Will my check now be reduced even more by supporting others? Anyone out there know about this? I can't have MORE taken out. I'd love to hear from anyone knowledgeable about this. Thanks. Erpi
