  1. Hi everyone, I'm considering to upgrade my A10RX to an A20RX. The cost for having the the unit upgraded is not cheap, at all. I use my A10RX mainly in the bag with A10 TX and betso bowtie direclty connected to it. Using the A20 with the A10TX, I will "only" benefit of the added band pass filer and probably a better or longer firmware updating path. I'd like to know the experience of someone who has already upgraded his unit/s or someone who uses both and can compare the performance of the two receivers. An antenna distributor with a tunable filter costs and weights more, but can be used with more receivers, and of different brands, even if most new receivers tend to have a built in band pass filter. My intention is to buy 2 or maybe 4 wirelss channels next year, but I haven't decided yet wich brand. Any consideration is very welcome.
  2. Hello to everyone, I spent the last hour testing the updated 2,6 firmware on my A10 RX and two TX. I update everything from 2,5 to 2,6 version, using the last version of Mic2wav. I have a problem with the second channel of the receiver: It shows plenty rf bars, but no audio signal at all, and the leds relative to the second channel on the rx stay blue and red. The first channel works perfectly. Changing frequency on that channel (tx and rx) did not help, and using the other tx to match the same frequency neither. Of course a mic is conneted to the tx and its audio bar is modulating; and the internal recording function works well. I used the restore function, but did not help. Has anyone got the same or a similar problem? Thanks in advance.
  3. I enjoyed this "short" :-)) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NltCxxyqFUU Waiting for the next installment. I think this has the potential to become a dark, heavy, action drama with car chase scenes and international intrigue... Episode One: These 2 poolside heavies plant Audio Ltd. wireless mics into Zaxcom headquarters in order to unlock the secret code ..... on second thought, maybe a comedy series would be the way to go....ha ha! The MixPre 6 sounds good to my ear. Anyone know which wireless models, lavs and camera were used? Cheers, Dave
  4. Hello Wireless Enthusiasts! Audio Ltd. has been among the world's most respected makers of wireless systems for over 30 years will now be distributed by Redding Audio. If you're attending NAB you can check out the full range of products at Redding Audio's booth #C3027. You can check out some tasteful pictures and specs of Envoy En2 here: Audio Limited Gotham Sound will have demos available and will be shipping orders shortly after NAB. Hope you all are as excited as we are! Thanks, CZ Wittich Manager of Things Gotham Sound and Communications, Inc.
  5. Hi! I'm going to upgrade my Senn EW g3 and I'm a little bit confused about the next purchase... Within my budget I doubt between the new Audio Ltd. EN2 series http://www.audioltd.com/eng/ and some used Lectrosonics like the old UCR210D receiver with the UM200C transmitter. Both systems are more or less in the same price range. Since I work 99,99% of the times in docos and reality I REALLY like the scan function in those EN2 but I'm scared they're not good enough to be a real upgrade from my g3's. I don't know also if they're powereful enoug when it comes to transmission and avoiding drop outs (they will be better than g3 i guess, but I've did'nt try by myself). The Lectros have proven to be very nice, but I'm scared about the mechanical freq. setting. Any opinions? Thanks in advance!
