Arnold F.
I have two SRa systems and I need to get rid of one of them. I'm not sure which to keep for primarily NYC/tri-state use, Block 19 or Block 20. I remember someone saying that one of the blocks has more police and public safety than the other but don't remember which one. A.
Jack Norflus
19 has more public safety - but still quite usable.

hemmerlinj
You'd be fine with either one. I use 19 and always find good clear freqs. When I've used 20 it's been the same, maybe a little more really low level interference when you do a scan. Although that is based on the last time I used 20's and I was using them with a 788t so the gack could have been from the 788. cheers
dustinguished
My block 19 worked pretty well in Times Square
Adam Aslan
How are you guys feeling about these blocks these days in NYC?
Ze Frias
They still work fine. I still find 26 to be the best block in NYC, but you can find a decent number of usable frequencies in blocks 19, 20, 21, 24 and 25 as well. 22 and 23 I've had more issues with, but you can still find at least 1 or 2 usable frequencies in those blocks as well. YMMV obviously depending on where you are in NYC. One block may be great, the next, not so much.
Mosdeaf
As well my preference for NYC has been block 26 very rarely had any issues.
