José
Hi all! I just stumbled upon this on the web as I was looking for an intermodulation program to use when checking my frequencies. Anybody know of any other intermodulation programs that be great too? Especially that can work from your phone. Anyway, here is the link: http://ff.audiotechnica.com/index2.html
studiomprd
Hi JosA, and welcome... there are several, and some are being currently discussed, others recently. When joining a new group, it is usually a good idea to read the mail, and if you have some specific questions, do some searching.
Audio Daddyo
OR you can just wait until a reasonable person tries to answer your question. Check out Freqfinder for Android or Iphone. Andy
Rob Lewis
I have used it in the past with no problems, but its a pain cause you can't save and have to re enter every time. As andy mentioned, Freqfinder is much better, and is designed for the most common brands on the market, and it keeps getting better.
Marc Wielage
I agree with Rob. If you have an iPod or Android device, New Endian's Freqfinder is a better way to go.
Boomboom
... with the iPhone version, can you save your settings ? I remember reading that only Android version can do it...? I hope I'm wrong :-)
Marc Wielage
Well, the iPhone version saves whatever you enter into it, so it stays there until the next time you do a shoot -- if that's what you mean.
Peter Mega
New Endian has mentioned in future updates, FreqFinder will be able to save more than 1 list. reply # 144 This will be an awesome addition I look forward to.
José
Yeah definitely! Frequency Finder looks awesome. That screen is very informative. Hopefully it will work with my Android at version 1.5 as New Endian says it should.

rich
i just got the freqfinder, and put in some frequency sets that the audiotechnica web app said were good and freqfinder showed intermod on some of those channels. what to trust? at least the freqfinder takes in to account frequency deviation
cinetj
Hi, I'm sure this is just a demonstration of my ignorance but this is a great place to learn. My question is: why would you need such an app having the scan mode in your wireless system and the factory preseted frequence groups to avoid intermodulation?
studiomprd
there are numerous reasons preproduction planning is but one of them interference on one of the factory preset frequencies is another...
Boomboom
A scan window would be great on, say, "FreqFinderPlus" app then...
Wandering Ear
Hi, I'm sure this is just a demonstration of my ignorance but this is a great place to learn. My question is: why would you need such an app having the scan mode in your wireless system and the factory preseted frequence groups to avoid intermodulation? Doing your own intermod calculation allows you much greater flexability than being stuck with only the factory intermod charts. Also FreqFinder allows you to do intermod on multiple brands wireless, which is something I do frequently. It's one tool in many to help reduce the number of problems that can arrise when using radios.
