soundslikejustin
Kind of a little bit of self-promotion, but not really. This is what I do on the side to sound. I've set up a little gallery, please check it out if you're interested. scopepic.tumblr.com Here's a taste, taken while I was on vacation at the end of last year. TimPitot
Really nice. Any clues on the London one? North? South? East? West?
Wandering Ear
Great photos Justin. Panoramics are a hobby of mine as well. I like the way your gallery is set up, very clean and easy to look through. I've always hated the way Panos show up in my photo gallery, the width is fixed so you end up having to scroll through the picture left to right, kinda takes away from the whole experience. Here's one of mine.
benr
Very nice stuff! Ive dabbled in panos a bit myself. What setup are you using? I use and love the Really Right Stuff single row pano setup. Been awesome for me! http://reallyrightstuff.com/ProductDesc.aspx?code=Pano-Elem-Pkg&type=3&eq=&desc=Pano-Elements-Package%3a-For-single-row&key=it

soundslikejustin
Really nice. Any clues on the London one? North? South? East? West? North East? I was staying with a friend in Southgate, it felt like a 20ish min drive to get to this park. Don't know if that's going to help at all... Been awesome for me! http://reallyrightst...ngle-row&key=it I don't actually own a pano head, I cheat and use this: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/553889-REG/Manfrotto_056_056_3_D_Junior_Head.html I'm able to get the point of rotation very close to where it needs to be, and I only have issues with very close forground object. soundslikejustin
Alexandra Park probably? Was there a Palace there? That sounds right. I think there was - and maybe I heard ice-skating rink? Thanks!
soundslikejustin
Another excellent site: http://www.airpano.com (with music background) Those waterfall shots are incredible. I have no idea how they got the ones that seem to float in space. I understand they shoot from Heli's etc. but that SHOULD cause them to not quite line up properly... amazing. Wandering Ear
If they're shooting with multiple lenses, i.e. taking all the shots at once, they could nullify the movement of the helicopter, and even using multiple cameras, you're probably far enough away that the photos will line up without issue. Maybe not the case with the guy in the office though. Cool photos.

Wandering Ear
Yeah, I miss traveling. Don't have the ability to travel like that these days. I prefer having a career in sound. Someday hopefully I can do both.
