Panoramas

Recommended Posts

Great photos Justin. Panoramics are a hobby of mine as well. I like the way your gallery is set up, very clean and easy to look through. I've always hated the way Panos show up in my photo gallery, the width is fixed so you end up having to scroll through the picture left to right, kinda takes away from the whole experience.

Here's one of mine.

Very nice stuff! Ive dabbled in panos a bit myself. What setup are you using? I use and love the Really Right Stuff single row pano setup. Been awesome for me!

I have a 360precision rig that I use, but due to weight and bag size restraints while I was traveling, most of these are shot freehand...!

I don't actually own a pano head, I cheat and use this:

I'm able to get the point of rotation very close to where it needs to be, and I only have issues with very close forground object.

If they're shooting with multiple lenses, i.e. taking all the shots at once, they could nullify the movement of the helicopter, and even using multiple cameras, you're probably far enough away that the photos will line up without issue. Maybe not the case with the guy in the office though.

Cool photos.

I'm a fan of the Panorama too !

One of the great benefits of this career, is the wonderful places we get to visit. Panoramas are a great way to capture the memories.

A-men to that.

Here's a few from my recent production-mixing trip to Mexico:
