Bob Marts
I found a variation on a "lavalier mic quieting sleeve" at an art supply store recently. It is smaller than the commercial brand, which is sometimes desired . It is a replacable foam cover for a painting tool with a lengthwise hole through it - just the right size for a COS11. I just snipped off one end and there you are with a nice smaller sized foam sleeve. I paid $2.09 for a package of 10! http://www.sofftart.com/products.html

gpiegari
Whatever works and I'm all for low cost alternatives. Just be careful and check the products material; Many folks have latex allergies... Glen
Travis Williamson
I've used those cheap earplugs you get from any pharmacy- just heat up a thin skewer or small piece of wire and melt it through. These look good too. Sometimes I just wrap the whole mic in snot tape like a sanken sausage roll!
andstrumental
How do you guys use hush lavs? I've bought some but never used them. I've seen them used in tie knots before. Do you just put them around the mic between moleskin? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
