Audio Daddyo
It appears that you don't have to be a IA member to sign. Correct? I will be a 481 member in a couple months. Andy

John Coffey
Labor must be willing to walk. Unless labor takes it to the bitter end and be willing to sacrifice, to actually stop working if they don't blink, then nothing good will ever be given to us. The years and years of contract erosion have proved that. We only achived significant wages and conditions through our willingness to take it all the way. That was over 30 years ago, and everyone tells me I'm a dinosaur and that the labor/management dynamic has changed in these modern times. I say it'll never change. Labor was born on the backs of workers walking out in solidarity. It's not easy but it's still the only way. I'm not saying we must strike, just be willing to if necessary. This is a crossroads time in the labor movement.

I'm not saying we must strike, just be willing to if necessary. This is a crossroads time in the labor movement. I actually enjoyed the five days (yes, I was there every day!) I spent on the picket line against the '1000 ways to die' TV show a couple of weeks ago. I learned quite a bit about what it is we do, and what we as a collective represent. We go to the movies for the past; we go to work for the present; and we go to picket lines for the future! Thanks for the link, Jeff. Michael Miramontes
I wonder if the adverse affect to this is production being outsourced to countries with loose labor laws. In any case I signed it.

This is a crossroads time in the labor movement. You are 100% correct. And then when the scabs come in..... THAT is the REAL question of what to do. How far are we willing to go? It sounds horrendous but how far are you willing to go for your IA job? The producers would like nothing more then to make their product without our unions. Oh, and signed.
