FWIW, I just discovered, last week, that Bill Moyers is back on the air on PBS.

(Locally on PBS World)

When Bill Moyer's Journal left the air almost two years ago, I felt a serious void, both for myself and others that want to be more deeply informed about past and current events and how they've played out to leave us and the country in the current state. I thought it was retirement - fortunately not so.

The esteemed and dignified voice of reason and dissent is back with his very insightful, well-researched interviews and information about our times.

Last week he connected the repeal of Glass - Steagall in 1999 under Clinton, and how it greatly contributed to the Wall Street takeover of our economic and political future....

In 1933, in the wake of the 1929 Stock Market Crash and during a nationwide commercial bank failure and the Great Depression, two members of Congress put their names on what is known today as the Glass-Steagall Act (GSA). This act separated investment and commercial banking activities.

This week he's discussing war - All signals pointing to impending lasting conflict, no matter how costly, in the affairs of the Middle East... Iran is the next Iraq - get ready for another boondoggle.
