Sebastian
I see that Zaxcom has just released their new batch of firmware (http://www.zaxcom.com/software-updates) and it got me thinking. I have firmware 7.30 on my TRX900 and I see that subsequently, there has been 7.30a through to the current 7.30f. Will the latest firmware contain ALL the previous updates or do I install every update separately? I guess this question would apply to all devices that require firmware updates. Tom Visser
If you have 7.30 or earlier, you can't upgrade to a higher version of firmware without sending the unit back to Zaxcom for RF transmitter recalibration. There have been some updates that were necessary and in order to support people that had 7.30 and didn't want to or couldn't send their units back, they made a forked firmware update, hence the 7.30a, b, c... etc... So Tom, I'm a bit confused! As I have 7.30, does that mean I need to install 7.30a, b, c etc as I live in South Africa and don't really want to send my unit back to the factory. soundslikejustin
Yes. You must install the 7.30x firmwares, not the 7.31 or higher ones unless you want to send your units back to zaxcom.

No if you are running 7.30 you can safely jump to 7.30f with no fear of having to send the unit back to Zaxcom. Just read the release notes and instructions carefully and you should have no problem. If you were running 7.31 then you would have to send it back.
