I would really like to know how you managed to open the COS11 to get at the connection lugs to solder on a new cable.

I have several COS11s that I need to repair before the week end.

Just received two repaired cos 11 lavs  who had problems where the wire enters the mic itself. My local audio shop could not fix it .

Send them to Cihan Alingan in Istanbul and he fixed them , sound as good as my other cos11 lavs when i got them back.

He charges 120,- dollar per repaired mic. ex.shipping.

Appreciate the mention of Wilcox for lav repairs. Glad to keep biz local and seem like cool folks. Will report back after repair.
