Spencer Moore
So some of you might have seen my thread about my recent frustrations with my newer Pelican cases. Well I bought a used Jan-Al case off the great auction site, and once it arrived I proceeded almost immediately with gutting it. Anyways I'll post more photos of the work, but I wanted to share a video of how useful an oscillating tool is for odd jobs like stripping foam off of wood. Sorry for the focus
AudioMTL
That's a great tip! Is that a special bit on a dremmel type tool or a hand grinder?
Spencer Moore
It's the Bosch multi tool with the scraper bit, but both the Dremel (less expensive) and Fein (much more expensive) can do the same thing. Tools are one of the few toys I buy myself, and I must say the oscillating tool is one of the most useful!
Mirror
Where do you buy the new foam?
Chase Yeremian
I am ordering a new case too! Not sure what i'm going to put in it, but I do know it will rock!
Spencer Moore
Where do you buy the new foam? Here in NYC we have at least one shop (that I know of) selling nothing but foam and rubber sheet goods. Canal Rubber http://www.canalrubber.com/ people buy everything from industrial products to supplies to make halloween costumes out of! I am ordering a new case too! Not sure what i'm going to put in it, but I do know it will rock! http://www.deltaatta...e-keeper-ad.png Damnit I need one of those... But its not going to fit my game genie I don't think. I'm sure we could devices some solution wherein we rig a super nes or genesis into a sound cart and play using the monitors.
