Sarvic
I'm looking at eventually getting an AT4053b with baby ball gag and windjammer as well as a Rode NTG-3, shockmount, blimp, and softie. Do you have any recommendations on hardcases to put my mics and accessories in and would it be better to have two separate cases for each mic setup or one big case for everything? Thanks again! OmahaAudio
I have an AT 4053b and use a hard plastic cigar tube bought at a local cigar store. I put some foam in the top and bottom. Cost about $5. You might also try your local hunting/fishing supply store for gun cases or fishing-stuff cases. Or, there's always a Pelican case. Jesse Flaitz
I carry my MKH 50 and 416 in the 50 case. I just cut a small vally in the foam for the 416, works great.
RPSharman
I keep my mics in a Pelican 1510 with divider insert. I keep the foam windscreens, softies, mounts and accessories in there too. And best part? When I go on vacation, I remove the insert and use the case as my carry-on :-)
Bob Marts
I use this box for 1 or 2 mics nestled in foam. Double walls make it quite strong and lightweight. http://www.sears.com.../p-00965284000P
Michael McQueen
I have a 1500 series pelican with foam plucked to hold all of my mics and room for all of my wind protection. But usually my mkh 50 & 60 are in my main case as I use those the most.
studiomprd
" would it be better to have two separate cases for each mic setup or one big case for everything? " pretty much subjective, and up to you.
