Mobilemike
I used my CS-3e for the first time yesterday and I have to say I was blown away by how good it sounded. Used it for all interior scenes yesterday, hard wood rooms, and it sounded great. Definitely has a great reach, and was able to pull clear dialogue out of crazy scenes. So far my favorite mic for location work! I've used the CMIT for ADR, not booming but my impression was that it is a good sounding mic, just a little flat and clinical sounding. Cheers! -Mike

Zack
" personal opinions on those that have. " it depends on what you personally prefer... the CS3e is a longer shotgun in a short package... I prefer my CMIT
Morantzsound
Bought 2 sankens cs3's in lieu of the Cmits i usually use for the feature I am doing in Puerto Rico due to the humidity conditions. After 2 days went back to the Cmit. Have had 2 occasions in 38 days where the Cmits failed for a short time but after a little R&R they start right back up. I will be selling the Sankens when I return, good mic but The Cmit hands down. Steve
Alan H. Chang
I went from CS3e, sold it right after, kept my MKH70, and got the CMITs. When it's a rainy day, I'll hire in the 816.
