Matt Greenfield
I have a hawkwoods np1 adapter powering my bag with 4pin hirose outputs. Any recomendations for a LED light, preferbely on goose neck and clip to light up my bag? Or am I better buying a AA battery powered one? or converting that for the hawkwood. Your thoughts would be great, Thanks! Matt

Jim Gilchrist
It says discontinued, byt maybe Remote Audio has some backstock laying around: http://www.bhphotovi...neck_Light.html But apparently available from a pro audio dealer as opposed to B & H. http://www.trewaudio.com/store/Remote-Audio-NiteLite.html Best regards, Jim
RPSharman
The new "Mighty Bright" LED lights have a DC port on them. It's for a 4v power supply. But I run mine all day off rechargeable AAA.

John Blankenship
Don't trust B&H when they say something is "Discontinued." This is nothing new for them and it doesn't necessarily represent the status from the manufacturer. They've done this numerous times before with still current products (including professional video cameras). And why is someone buying such items from them instead of supporting the professional audio dealers that support our industry?
syncsound
I only posted b and h because they were the first google result.

pkautzsch
Do you have an unused USB keyboard port in one of the devices in your bag? There is a Mighty Bright lamp with USB powering.
Boomboom
...if you don't but you're using a BDS that hasn't got the USB built-in, there's an adaptor cable for BDS 761 out to USB...
stevegrider
I use a gooseneck LED flashlight. It runs on 2AAs. You can find them at Home Depot near where electrician's tools are sold. I like it because it fits in the bag easily and the gooseneck allows me to direct a small pool of light exactly where I want it.
dfisk
Anyone using one of these? http://www.creativev...t/petrol_pa1013 I have one and I love it. I don't use it in an audio bag, though, but I can definitely see where it would be great on one. My wife has taken it for use with her cavernous purse. Tim Hays
Anyone using one of these? http://www.creativev...t/petrol_pa1013 Love these! I have 3. One on my bag and I use the other 2 on my ENG cart for under shelf lights.

But I run mine all day off rechargeable AAA. Incidentally, you have to REMOVE THE BATTERIES if you want to use the 4V adaptor... using the adaptor while the unit contains batteries will render it useless in minutes... found this out the hard way (before the manufacturer included this little tidbit of info in the instruction manual)... to their credit, MightyBright sent me a free replacement. Great company, great products... ~tt
