Boxx TV Wireless Video Feed and RF interference

Recommended Posts

I am currently working on film that has me working out of the bag a lot Camera is controlling camera functionality using a Boxx TV Meridian http://www.boxx.tv/products/meridian/broadcast/index.html

According the the website it is a 100Mw but they are getting over 500 feet of range which leads me to believe it is much stronger. They are also using a Standard Preston kit as well which while noisy doesn't seem to have any RF effect. It is killing my range in certain situations ( Less than 50 feet line of sight) Has anyone worked with this Boxx system before and experienced issues from it?

The info I have for them is:

Boxx TV Ltd.

Suite 17, Imperial Studios

3-9 Imperial Road

London, SW6 2AG

UK

My guess is that although the main carrier is not on UHF, there may be weird spurious harmonics and other hash that's wrecking normal wireless audio transmission.
