soundslikejustin
This is from Peep-Show I think. It's a great comedy series. So awkward.

atheisticmystic
These two guys come up with some pretty funny stuff. It's interesting that the ubiquitous "boom in frame" trope that is always supposed to cue us in to either poor tradecraft, or the "artifice" of filmmaking, makes its appearance here. Nothing is more artificial than a producer contriving scenarios or putting words into people's mouth. Is it still "unscripted" if the producer is writing the script verbally, in the moment, and feeding it to the actor playing the role of themself?Logging a pitch show...and having to listen to several days footage of the producer's inane sensibilities as he crudely sculpted their participants words, via whatever it is that serves as a proxy for creativity inside these people. Love it.
Michael Miramontes
Freaking awesome! I always wanted to do a bit like this. Especially to reveal how most shows that "surprise" someone at the door are so bogus (extreme home makeover for example) since everyone is mic'd up before hand. Great find Richard! Rasmus Wedin
I was so bummed when I found out 'Operation Repo' was made up.. -Richard Had to check it out now you mentioned it. "The stories that are portarayed in this program are based on real events." That kinda of gives them a whole lot of freedom to spice up the show. Tyler Faison
Classic! Reminds me of when news broke that House Hunters was fake. The EP said, "Yeah, so what? It's TV."
