"The full stop symbol derives from Aristophanes of Byzantium who invented the system of punctuation where the height of placement of a dot on the line determined its meaning. The high dot (˙) was called a "periodos" and indicated a finished thought or sentence, the middle dot (·) was called a "kolon" and indicated part of a complete thought, while the low dot (.) was called a "telia" and also indicated part of a complete thought."

In case you wondered.

Here's a doritos super bowl commercial I did music and sound editing on from a few years ago. They actually made me bring down the sounds of the guy getting hit at the end because they thought it sounded too violent....for a commercial airing during the superbowl...featuring one of the most violent american professional sports ever....

Here is a joke one of my Swedish dealers told me at IBC.

Q: Why is Budweiser like a canoe?

A: You can't get closer to water.

I've heard it from an Aussie and the way he told it was:

Q: Why is American beer like making love in a canoe?

A: 'Cause it's f**king close to water.
