KT-STUART BAG for CANTAR

The KT-STUART bag for Cantar arrived and I just shipped the original design back to GOTHAM SOUND.

It is a remarkable improvement and cost $100 less than the original.

This bag is a bit heavier and built like a soft padded box.  Came with both a 2-section clear raincover and a padded cover. Raincover is joined by second flap that will cover radios only while leaving Cantar open to operate under clear-cover.  Whereas the original bag was 3 different pouches buckled and velcroed together, this is one large compartment with velcroe dividing sections, ala Pelican case dividers.  There are still external clips and velcroe to add an additional outside pouch

It arrived set up for 7 (side-ways) divided receiver compartments adjustable for both width and thickness of components.  There are 2 main adjustable padded dividers between Cantar and accessories.  I guess that is either double padding or you can break them up and set it up for receivers to be held lengthwise 2-deep facing the operator.  Cabling is an easy pass-thru under the dividers.  There is no external cabling access from accessories to Cantar, only external side entry flaps to Cantar.  Several external hang point accessories well placed for cable coils and IFB or drink holder or whatever.

The bag hangs on one of two D-ring set points so it can be balanced to not pitch forward away from you when loaded (overloaded).  The original bag literally hung on the Cantar strap points.  Two velcroe straps pass through Cantar strap eyes to hold it firmly inside bag.

This is a nice production bag and I can see replacing the Cantar with an ENG mixer for video bag jobs.
